Very good position for my business exigencies. Hotel very close to city center, with parking on-place and another big parking lot right in front. Room was not big but clean and neat. Staff was kind and helpful. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice.
HABAKUK Wellness & Event Hotel is located right at the foot of Pohorje, next to an attractive tourist, sports and recreation centre, surrounded by green nature.
Completely new hotel I was the one of first guests
The city is great! Small but has everything, very clean, friendly people, great places! In 4 months I visited it 3 times and I have already booked the next trip to Maribor. There is definitely something to see in each of the seasons!

I was not very impressed by Maribor.
I was not very impressed by Maribor. I had stopover here for one night during business trip. The historic center of the city is small, you can walk through it within an hour. Other parts of the city have typical socialist architecture from the time of Yugoslavia, which alternates with modern buildings. There are not many monuments or landmarks here. I definitely recommend visiting Ljubljana more if you choose cities in Slovenia to visit.

I like the city a lot - it was my second stay on the way to Slovenia and Croatia. City is very nice, clean and green. there are historical buildings, great bridge. we visited VINAG winery - in the center, with the dungeons below one of the squares.

Maribor is nearly a good place to visit, but not quite.
Maribor is nearly a good place to visit, but not quite. The limited history is not looked after and presented well, for example the Pyramid hill has the remnants of a 12th century castle on top but it is completely overgrown with weeds and is not accessible. The grapevines on the pyramid hill are all dead and overgrown with weeds so its an unsightly walk to the top. The old town is nice but small and the side streets have been tagged heavily. Its not their fault, they were bombed heavily in the war so much of it has been lost. One day is plenty to have a look around Maribor on your way to somewhere else...

What a nice place Maribor is; a walkable centre with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly people, and good cafes and bakeries for breakfast, We had a good dinner on the terrace at Ancora on Jurciceva ulica, which we were actually sent to by the helpful waiter at Papagayo on Gosposka ulica, because they do a lot of gluten-free stuff, including good pizzas; being directed somewhere by someone from a rival establishment is not something that happens every day. There's a great ice cream place just at the south end of Stari most and good beer and cocktails at the places down on the riverfront.

We were in the theatre Lutkovno gledališče.
We were in the theatre Lutkovno gledališče. MB has excellent shows for children. The language doesn't matter, you can understand👏👏👏
Guided tour is not too Long, stopped on the bank od River Drava. Walking, taking bus ...you can get all you wish.
This hotel is one of most amazing ones i have ever been to|! The Owners have put so much thought and efforts to make it perfect! We especially liked the maps of the world and the of Maribor that are used as décor all around the hotel. They made it themselves! Congratulations for the efforts and the result! :)
It was very quiet, clean and Karin was amazing host! It is close to the city center and has free and safe parking behind fence. I absolutely highly recommend it if you are in town.
It is not a fancy hotel but good value for the price that I paid, with basic facility. The room is clean and the staff is kind and polite. They speak good English and helpful in facilitating late checking and luggage storing after check out. The breakfast is reasonable (mainly bread, wide variation of jams, cereal, ham and cheese, tea, coffee and juice). The location is good (near to the city and in the university of maribor)
It is a really well located Hotel in Maribor, right in the center and walking distance from everything in the city.
Everything is really new, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is clean.
They also have parking spaces, which solves the problem of parking in the center of a busy city.
The best part is that they are pet friendly!
I first stayed in this hotel/hostel about 17 years ago, and it was good then and it's good now. Great value for money for a city centre hotel, particularly as all the other hotels in the centre of Maribor are way overpriced for what you get. Overall it is a nice, comfortable hotel with excellent staff and customer service.
Location is perfect, very close to the city centre and at the same time, you do not have problem to access it by car. There is garage at the hotel (10€/night). Perfect breakfast at the roof top restaurant of the hotel with beautibul views. Room was spacious, very well equipped. Nice hotel.
We booked a night here to rest on a roadtrip and it’s a nice comfortable hotel at a good location in Maribor. Perfect for a short stay, breakfast is ok and you can have a quick visit in this calm city as it is close to the center and you can leave your car at the hotel after checkout.
Spacious clean apartments. Great location, almost in the center of the city, but parking is 300 m away in a public parking. Includes only one free parking space per rental. You must get instructions from the apartment owners to park for free. Parking a second car costs 25 E per day.
Clean and well maintained hotel. Easy check-in and check-out. Friendly property manager who made and an extra mile to explain and mark on the map what to visit in Maribor. Old city in a walking distance. Safe and quiet neighborhood.
We wre with our kids and two dogs. This is a very nice, clean place with an excellent staff. The breakfast is good, the rooms were nice and quiet. The city center is 5 minutes by car. they have a huge parking space around the lot.
Lovely building with a stylish entrance and restaurant area. Appartements are super spacious. Property located in the heart of the city center, pedestrian zone. lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance.
Perfect location right in the center of this very interesting city.
Check-in was easy, and the staff was very friendly. The room was basic, but clean and spacious. Hotel has own parking spaces wirh easy access.
The beds were kind of OK, and the room is enough for a one-night sleepover. It wasn't far from the city center so we could walk and didn't need a taxi or a bus. There was always a place to park our car.
The breakfast was excellent and the rooms was spacious and clean. Also the location is great, 10 minutes walk from the city center, and they even provide free parking
Everything was spotless, the staff was nice, generous breakfast, pet friendly (our Beagle loved it), in the city center. We liked the city more than Ljubljana.
Great that the hotel has a electricity plug in the Parking lot to charge electric vehicles and they do not charge for this service. Highly appreciated.
