This is a very clean and well kept up hotel. The proprietor was extremely nice and very helpful. The location was great for visiting Barbstown and Maker's Mark Distillery, however, it is right off the highway and you can hear the traffic, but we bring earplugs wherever we travel. They have a comfortable bed, great shower, nice big tv, refrigerator and coffee pot. We would definitely stay here again.

Bardstown is a lovely little town in the heart of Bourbon country, great for a weekend trip! Some lovely restaurants and some not so good ones. Talbot Inn was very hyped up but did not live up to it's reputation. Mammy's was awesome !

Our trip this time was just 1 night but I have visited before. The downtown has nice shops, the distilleries are fun to visit. Also Stephen Foster home & park. So happy to see that they have now acknowledged that enslaved people built and maintained the place or it would not exist.

If you like historic architecture, distillery trips and tasting, and some really unique dining and drinking experiences it is the place for you. the downtown shops are nice and friendly, there are both new and one of a kind historic restaurants. the towns people seem very polite and friendly and the town itself was nice. driving traffic is almost nonexistent and you can get anywhere fairly quickly
This motel was a really good choice for 2 day stay. We go to Bardstown often as we have family there. Our room, #113 was large with a very comfortable king bed. There was plenty of space for a big air mattress if you have more than 2 people. Most importantly, the room and bathroom were very clean. The internet service was adequate. The staff was friendly and eager to assist. We'll definitely stay here again. 😊☮️
The room was clean and nice. A little outdated but that wasn't a problem for me. The owner was very nice and polite. The hotel sit in a nice area and convenient to the local town. I was just down there for a night but from what I seen there were tons of local attractions to go to very close to the hotel. I will be back in town soon and I will stay again.
We stayed here the night of our wedding and it was absolutely wonderful. It was beautiful, the atmosphere was amazing, the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable. We spent some time in the bourbon bar where they had delicious appetizers and drinks. Overall our stay was the best choice we could have made for the night of our wedding.
Any business is only as good as their employees. The staff at this Fairfield Inn are excellent.
We used the fitness center - it was clean & there were extra towels & water available.
The location of the Inn was easy to find & not too far from downtown Bardstown.
The price was unbeatable compared to every other hotel in Bardstown. It’s about an 18 minute walk to the shops, restaurant's and bars downtown. The facility was clean. It was simple and cheap for my wife and I. Bonus points we were able to check in early.
Very clean, refreshed large room with private restroom. All clean, and working properly. Spacious parking available. Great location in central part of Bardstown, close to restaurant, shops, or main "square" of city. Perfect for night on bourbon trail.
Granny, Pa and 2 grandsons enjoyed our 2 day stay here while visiting our daughter in Bardstown. Beds were comfortable, room was clean, breakfast was good enough with lots of options, staff was very friendly and eager to help if needed.
I liked that you use an actual key to the door and not a keycard. The location was close to downtown bardstown so it wasn't a far drive. Was asked if we wanted upstairs or downstairs as a preference for our room
Lovely hotel at the edge of Bardstown, ideal if you want to explore some of the surrounding distilleries. Fine breakfast.
Currently undergoing some renovation work, but we didn't notice much of it.
We were expecting an average mid-range hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the newness of the extremely clean building. Our room was very quiet with good proximity to downtown.
Convenient location with large parking area which made maneuvering my truck and trailer very easy. Vintage hotel is charming. Large, well kept room with all the amenities.
