Absolutely nothing. The motel was filthy. Mold on the exterior's overflowing. Mold spores pulling up the roof tiles, Dumpster behind the building had bags of trash and other objects over flowing into the parking lot.

Sunrise and sunset are pretty amazing, the water is clean, and the wildlife (we encountered a couple of seals) was a nice bonus. We rented a tandem kayak from Rideaway and everyone had a good time paddling around on it. It is very quiet, and the beach has plenty of room for everyone. We were able to leave our belongings right on the beach and never worried about them not being there when we returned. The water in the bay is clean and cool/cold. Being allowed to build a nice fire on the beach at night was a big bonus, as it extends the amount of time you can spend on the beach. I can’t say much about the fishing since the weather during our stay and the tide times were not ideal. If you’re looking for a place to relax, East Sandwich would be a great option.

Tremendously inhospitable and unwillingness to interact positively with guests. I would not be surprised if this business which chany ownership this year is a money laundering scheme. Beautiful property which needs help. Stay away.

It depends on what you are looking for.

It depends on what you are looking for. I had a 12 yr old grandson with me, for me, we had to drive 30 mins. to get to much of what we were planning to do. One day would have covered all we wanted to do in this area.

Great for us because we could kayak the canal.

Great for us because we could kayak the canal. The bay was great for hanging on the beach and kayaking as well. We also bring bikes and we biked the canal trail - beautiful scenery - right along the water. Bay beach is nice with sandbars and waves were not too big. Main street has great shops - fun and funny souvenirs (actually got good things for gifts), great store - Brown Jug - for fresh bread and sandwiches, great antique pieces . Good attractions nearby too - all in a very laid- back, easy-breezy atmosphere. Getting around easy and things to do close by.

Our stay was so relaxing among a gorgeous setting. We could have stayed much longer. Our room was decorated perfectly with canopy beds and hardwood floors. We looked out on a beautiful landscape of flowers in full bloom and walked out the back to see a lovely lawn with geese. It was a perfect getaway

    I had a rental car.

I had a rental car. I enjoyed driving on 6A and looking at the quaint houses and gardens. I visited the Heritage Gardens on a previous visit. It is beautiful in the spring when the azaleas and rhododendrons are blooming. This year I visited the Sandwich Glass Factory. The area is teeming with history!!
