The room had a fun bad smell the made the wife a little sick. I told them at the desk, I'm don't want to take a change because she had a lung transplant, and we cannot play around with that. We got to the room around 4 pm and I
smell it a little but I wasn't sure. When we went out late that night, she smell it on her mask.
They didn't even offer me another room that morning, which I was book for three nights. They told they have to wait on
someone to check and see.

A very nice, safe town.
A very nice, safe town. There were many families and groups of people going out for dinner, shopping and the like. There are many coffee shops that are delicious and have nice ambiance. There are grocery stores that are amazing, big, beautiful, clean and great products and prices. There are plenty of things to do, being very close to NYC, Met Life Stadium and malls and movie theaters. There are historical sites and many parks with gorgeous views of the Hudson River, George Washington Bridge and NYC.

Convenient location.
Convenient location. We wanted to visit NYC but didn't want to stay there. We Ubered back and forth to NYC. It was a very nice hotel to stay in and we would stay there again. The breakfast was magnificent. It took about 20 minutes to get to NYC. Note: Evening Ubers are twice as much as morning Ubers. After tip we paid over $100 to come back at night. But, if you've driven in NY, it was worth it.

I didn't visit fort Lee, I only stayed in the hotel for a short period of time. Spent my time in Englewood N J. Wouldn't invite friends over for a while because of the dirty room. Didn't complaint to front desk knowing that they already informed me of lack of staff.

We were there for the I Love NYC at Central Park.
We were there for the I Love NYC at Central Park. Driving was easy to get to and from the hotel to parking. The staff was exceptionally concerned with guest satisfaction. The bartender, Dean, absolutely went out of his way to fulfill our needs. The coffee staff was pleasing and welcoming and the front desk checked us in and out with efficiency. Overall I would give you an 11 if possible and settle for the 10-star service.
Very nice hotel, with great accessibility to a major road. A little distant from public transit and Manhattan. Ample parking on site. Welcoming staff, very clean space and rooms. Spacious and well decorated rooms. Beds are very comfortable and bathroom very spacious with quality shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Basic breakfast included free of charge and served daily with basic recycleable plates and cutlery.
Overall a great experience, with reasonable pricing. We stayed two nights in November while visiting New York.
check in was smooth and quick. The reception was friendly and informative. They made me feel comfortable and answered all of my questions. They had the amenities they advertised. I got a nice room, and my son did too. I asked for and received extra towels and toiletries. All the staff was helpful, and they asked about my stay at the end when I left. They were super nice, and I felt very safe at the hotel. It is conveniently located to many eateries, shopping and entertainment.
The hotel staff was very friendly. Actually being in the hotel was the only time I felt welcomed and treated politely in my whole trip to New York. People outside the hotel were rude, that's my impression coming from Canada where people is always polite. They spoke Spanish and I was happy to speak in my language.
All the stuff was great, Mercedes and her husband made sure that we were having a good time in the hotel, she was always smiling and willing to help. Gracias Mercedes.
The location was fairly close to where we were traveling (Bronx Zoo and Staten Island). It was modern and decorated nicely. It was extremely clean. We loved that there was a Starbucks/bar on the first floor (though we didn’t have a chance to partake). It was the quietest hotel we have ever stayed in; we can normally hear doors slamming and footsteps from others staying in the hotel. That was not the case here.
The hotel and its facilities need much upgrade, the bathroom and the fittings are old, on the 2nd day of my stay the whole hotel had no hot water. I was really disappointed in this doubletree, I have lodged in many others in the past as I am a Hilton member. This time I did nothing just sleep and check out
For the price this is perfect! Its a motel room, nothing more. Shower is fine, room was clean, not too noisy. If you want a 5 star hotel , you might be disapointed… if you want to sleep and shower, its perfect. Staff at the reception was friendly and helpfull
I can say it’s the most functional and charming hotel in the city, with no extra taxes for tourists, very easy bridge access, and incredibly helpful and friendly staff. If you have a car, it’s a great choice for the price. Thanks to all the hotel staff.
The location is great for going into NYC. There's a bus stop to Port Authority just behind the hotel, and if you want to drive in the GWB is very close. The bed was comfortable and the lady who handled my check in was very helpful.
The value near Manhatten and Bronx was good. The staff was mostly helpful. With Covid, there wasn't much in the hotel that was open, but just fine if you are out. After figuring out public transit to NYC, it was really a value.
This is my second time staying at Fort Lee and I have nothing bad to say about this place!
I am absolutely pleased especially with the young lady at the front desk! She is AWESOME!!!
Thank you again Fort Lee ( Best Western).
location close to George Washington Bridge heading toward NYC and had easy bus access to cross the bridge to George Washington Bus station. However, difficult to get back to the hotel on public transportaton.
The best part of the hotel is free parking and easy Uber ride to uptown. The rooms were clean but the hallways still smelled like cigarettes even though they switched to being a smoke free hotel.
