Area was not safe to stay in.

Area was not safe to stay in. Extended stay upstairs had adults and small children running around in the parking lot and on stairs and people sitting in lawn chairs. I went to the front office told them we could not stay there and he said he understood and would refund when he heard from booking.com, but he did not refund. We paid for two rooms we did not stay in but were glad we found somewhere safe for ourselves, our elderly parents and our friends to stay the night. I would not recommend staying at this facility , it was not a safe establishment.

Access and movement around city is easy and efficient.

Access and movement around city is easy and efficient. The Skylight hotel is a bargain for accommodations. The restaurants in the area are pretentiously expensive, $50-88.00 for a sirloin steak !!!!! The town of Greenville looks very economically depressed, an abundance of boarded up businesses, makes you cautious about doing any pedestrian exploration. Stayed here as it was the logical stopping point after a days travel from our departure point. Not certain I would do a return visit when traveling through the area.

Greenville is ok if you are just passing through.

Greenville is ok if you are just passing through. The only decent hotels there are Hampton and Harlow’s which are way over price. All of the other hotels need upgrades and money invested in them to hire more staff to make them comfortable and clean. Would not stay in another Days Inn by these people.

Flat wetlands with very little to offer limited restaurants...

Flat wetlands with very little to offer limited restaurants and shopping as well as any reason other than visiting family or friends to come here the town is dirty trash every where you look along the roadways and old abandoned buildings houses and areas... lived here not by choice 3 years ago and again returned with job but nothing changed the place is a wasteland for under achieved opportunity and not much to offer for living been here a month now and cannot find decent housing anywhere.... the pandemic was already here before the rest of the nation felt the impact... do not make this a destination for long term

Is a sleepy Southern town on the Mississippi Delta.

Is a sleepy Southern town on the Mississippi Delta. I couldn't really tell what the main industries are, and the downtown is in the very beginning stages of a revival it appears. The people are friendly, and I don't know much about the town, except it is the Tamale capital of the world. I was there for work, and did not do any sight seeing.

I recommend Greenville because it's my hometown.

I recommend Greenville because it's my hometown. To many dilapidated houses and buildings. Housing projects on the south end if town that need to be demolished, rebuilded and actually made affordable for residents. Maybe some could be rent to own. Showcase the eating establishment's, we had to ask and search.

I like the hotel and location. But my rooms air conditioner was not working and the front desk clerk did everything she could to help with the hear of the room. She brought a fan. The manager took off a percentage of the cost which was great when checked out the next morning. It was cooler in the hall way than it was in our room. We could not switch rooms because the hotel was sold out that weekend. We had to go over my great grandmother's home to stay and that was very uncomfortable

This hotel was very nice looking, but what sold me into staying was the way the young rep that checked me in took care of problem with room. She was very professional and address/solve problem. I will be traveling that way again and will choose TRU. Great job and thank you TRU Rep. LaTea.

I booked the hotel because of a receptionist named Donna. She sounded very nice and informative. They accept dogs here so it was nice to see other guests with their pets. The rates were pretty good as well.

It was very clean. The staff was very friendly. I loved the decor and the original features that were still visible. Everything within the hotels control, we found to be excellent.
