Our room was great! Roomy and I loved the fireplace and balcony. We ordered room service and that was fun for the kids. The location is the best. Had the best time overall and can’t wait to go back

The house was very comfortable with very comfortable beds. The hot tub jets were wonderful. Everything was clean and extremely well equipped. There were lovely original watercolor paintings nicely framed on the walls. Location was great. There was a nice seating area in both the front and the back and inside and outside dining tables.

I liked everything about Half Moon Bay
My stay at Half Moon Bay Lodge was very pleasant and I highly recommend it.
The only downside was my Lunch at the Ritz Carlton
totally mediocre food, a Glass of Wine not even half full, I do NOT recommend it 👎👎.
The Beaches are great, the Golf Course looks good
I did not play.

Half Moon Bay is a small community with loads of weekend visitors. Hence, nutty traffic on the weekends. Restaurant options were a mixed bag - found a great Italian place (Pasta Moon) and a horrible Indian place (India Beach).

Lovely hotel & location, but certain services and facilities are curtailed at different times of the year..,.eg the dining room was closed during our stay, as was the bar and the spa. This meant no breakfast was available, and all meals/drinks needed to be taken outside of the hotel.

We stayed in Half Moon Bay to stay out of the SF/Silicon Valley crazy but many of our activities were over on the east side of the peninsula. The seafood was fantastic (Sam's Chowder House) and the beaches and road side farms were as well.

Walked from Harbor Inn to the restaurants and moorings in the harbor across the street. Beautiful harbor, lots of walking opportunities, and a lot of choices to places to eat.
I ate at Barbara's Fish Trap right on the wharf. Fresh broiled sea bass was amazing and the service was great.

Half moon bay is a great weekend visit.
Half moon bay is a great weekend visit.
While there is not much to do late at night, there is plenty to do during the day and evening.
We spend the day/night visiting shops, going wine tasting, walking on the beach, and going out to eat.
Although we sometimes like to stay out late, it was nice to come back a little early and relax back where we were staying.
Everyone in town is very friendly!
Nice quiet property with lots of snacks and goodies laid out. Very convenient for setting off for a stroll around Half Moon Bay. We were disappointed that there was no onsite breakfast. Part of the pleasure of a B&B stay is the opportunity to chat at breakfast.
Beautifully appointed, clean, and charming. Right on the ocean and near the Coastside trail for great walks. About a 4 mile walk to the downtown of Half Moon Bay, using the trail along the ocean. Good breakfast and wine and cheese in the evening!
Super soft pillow top mattress! The view of golf course. Decor of Hotel and warm pool and hot tube gazebo! All lovely! Easy water and good water temp in shower. The breakfast could improve.waffles? I didn't see any....but I went at 945am.
Absolutely beautiful place offering so many amenities. The hosts were lovely and made us feel very welcome. We can highly recommend the Nantucket Whale Inn and it will definitely be our first choice when returning to Half Moon Bay
Exceptional property, right on the beach. Beautiful location and everything you need for a wonderful relaxing stay. Loved the fire pit outside and the stunning sunrises. Walking distance to shops and places to eat
After requesting a new room I was very pleased with the view and the room overall. It was a great experience for my first time staying in the hotel. The spa experience was just lovely and exactly what I needed.
Absolutely beautiful hotel, probably one of the best I have ever stayed in. Gorgeous decor. Reception were ok but not over friendly. Didn’t have info on the spa, area, trips. Cleaning staff were friendly though
Cute and quaint hotel in a very good location. Very small so feels more private than most hotels. The receptionist was amazing and upgraded our stay since we were celebrating my birthday.
The money spent on this hotel room was for the view. Full ocean view right across a narrow street from the beach. The rest of the hotel had nothing to impress.
Loved the location as it was walking distance to 5 or 6 restaurants. And the views from the room were amazing. Also the hotel lobby way just beautiful.
