The Seaside Inn is a rustic, very clean and a historic place\area. The location on the ocean was extraordinary and romantic (at least for me). Service was exce llent, staff friendly and helpful and the breakfast delight. We plan on return g with friends.

Absolutely everything…from the Valet, to the Front Desk to the luxurious and pampering service! We felt incredibly special and the room had a beautiful display of down home Maine baked goods and snacks!

We enjoyed the location even though you must take a car into Kennebunkport. The Goose Rocks Beach was directly across the street and even though we were not partaking in beach activities in October, the sunrises were spectacular from that spot! The neighborhood surrounding the property is well kept, quiet and beautiful for taking walks. I imagine the Inn would be hugely popular in the summer months!
The rooms were clean, bathrooms updated and beds were comfortable. Plenty of toiletries were provided.
The Inn feels much like home, with enough public gathering spots for your group. We enjoyed the fireplace in the morning and evenings. The restaurant, which is situated in the lobby, bustles with locals and visitors each night. We dined there twice during our stay and were well pleased with our meals each time. The haddock was the groups favorite meal of our trip to Maine and Massachusetts.
The staff at the Tides is exceptional in our opinion. From guest services, to the servers and bartenders, and maintenance staff…they were all friendly and helpful. This made our visit seem even more like home!

The owner was incredibly nice and accommodating. You can tell just how much effort he puts into the place. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated.
The Garrison is located in Wells, within 1.3 miles of Wells Beach and 1.4 miles of Crescent Beach. The 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with a private bathroom and free WiFi.

The location was great. Beds were extremely comfortable.
short stretch of beautiful beach!
Once you cross over some pebbles, it is all smooth ,sandy bottom on the ocean floor.Beach was not super crowded and there were many smiling faces and also happy dogs of all sizes enjoying the water at the end of the day.
The "rockiness" is not enough to keep anyone from getting in the water!
I would label it a "sandy beach" with a rating of 10 + for location&cleanliness. Great for families and people of all ages and abilities.
