Huge fight directly outside my room with what looked like a hooker and her pimp. I am yet to have my deposit returned. Spoke with 2 separate employees and first one was clueless. Second one said she would handle it. I was refunded $5.55 and not even on the chime card I used for my deposit. I want my $50 deposit back

Lafayette is a great town, lots of dining options.
Lafayette is a great town, lots of dining options. The room at this facility was terrible. One light in the entire room. Bed linens looked dirty and looked to not have been changed from the previous guest. Bathroom linens were not hung on the racks and some were missing. one rack was laying behind the stool and the fasteners were still open on the wall. TV was stuffed on top of the wardrobe. Coffee pot, (No coffee) was on top of the microwave, shoved in a corner. When I dropped a pill on the floor, I found items left from previous guests between the bed and AC unit. Scary experience, Property looked nice on the outside. Room was horrible. Do not book at this facility before looking at your room!

It's exactly what you'd assume it is.
It's exactly what you'd assume it is. The neighborhoods near the Kampen Golf Course are nice. As with most cities, it's not as pedestrian friendly as it could be, but there are some sidewalk/trails to put one foot in front of the other.

People make the place.
People make the place. I found the various places I visited (restaurants, stores, gas stations, etc.) that people were cordial and took pride in their work.
Otherwise, Lafayette was pretty clean, traveling about was smooth and without hectic traffic, and the main strip offered pretty much everything a guest would want.

The only thing I really don't care for at the hotel is the toiletries they use to bath with.
We enjoyed the mall.

Lovely city, GREAT restaurants.
Lovely city, GREAT restaurants. Ya gotta go to Arni's original location, have a JR salad and pizza! (pepperoni is ground up, not in circles!) Another must is Lindo Mexico, beautiful place and awesome food!
Tour Purdue!
Take a drive out and about!
For a long term stay, the nicest staff, in an excellent location, and we loved walking downtown to the Farmer's Market, to restaurants, across the Wabash and on to West Lafayette. Very quiet, and in the other direction, our daughter's apartment a few blocks away. We were there to help her move.
Bed and huge room selected for us by very nice front desk person who I wish I knew her name. Room and bathroom clean.
For 6 nights, we were happy to be able to spread out, and slept very well.
Location and comfort combined to make this choice better than our previous stays in Lafayette and West Lafayette for Purdue student. Paying the small amount for breckfast turned out better than the free breckfasts at other places, parking in the garage was safe and convenient, sound proofing amazing compared to other nearby accommodation.
The beds were comfortable, and the room was spotless. The pool provided a welcome break from our long road trip. Terrific breakfast buffet! The staff were all helpful and friendly without fail. I highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel was clean but the mattress I had was sunk down in the middle. When I called the front desk to ask if another room could be arranged with a different mattress I was told that wouldn't be possible.
The hotel is really clean; the room is very wide, big enough to workout inside. It also has two large tables, one underneath the other. Inside the bathroom, the shower is long and has a glass door.
The hotel was centrally located to many restaurants. We stayed here to do a campus tour of Purdue and it was only a 10-15 min drive to campus. The room was spacious for our family of 5.
Honestly, there was nothing that I liked about this hotel. The only benefit of staying here was that was close to Purdue University and we stayed there while visiting campus.
A hot breakfast was included in my hotel room cost and it smelled amazing. The coffee tasted very good. The room was very spacious. The staff was very friendly.
The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel was conveniently located across the street from restaurants. They were very accommodating regarding my pet.
My wife loved lemon water arrangement at the entrance lobby. The coffee brew at the room was great as well. We felt quite safe and welcome at the hotel.
