Sand Pebble Motor Lodge, hotel in Point Pleasant Beach

Featuring an outdoor pool, this motel is in Point Pleasant, New Jersey, just 325 ft from the beach and boardwalk. Wi-Fi access is provided to guests free of charge.

The location by far was the best part of staying here. However, just a warning to other travelers, you still have to pay to access the beach ($14/adult at the time of my visit). I didn't realize this until I arrived and to me this does take away a lot of the benefits of staying at this place or really anywhere in Point Pleasant.

PT PLEASANT BEACH AND THE SURROUND TOWNS / BEACHES, A LITTLE NORTH AND SOUTH, ARE AWESOME ! GREAT FOR FAMILIES AND COUPLES, AWESOME CLEAN, SAFE NEIGHBORHOODS, ALL A LITTLE MORE THAN AN HOUR FROM NYC !! WHEN YOU'RE IN THE AREA YOU COULDN'T IMAGINE YOUR THAT CLOSE TO NYC AND IT'S GARBAGE AND THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST AREAS IN THE COUNTRY, DESPITE BEING IN A BLUE STATE THE POLITICIANS ARE TRYING TO DESTROY ! I SAY NOW, THIS POINT IN TIME, THE JERSEY SHORE, FROM BELMAR, TO ORTLEY BEACH, ABOVE SEASIDE, ARE SOME OF THE NICEST BEACHES IN THE COUNTRY, WITH SO MANY GOOD RESTAURANTS, THEY'RE CLEAN AND SAFE ! ENJOY THEM BEFORE WHAT HAPPENS IN ANY MARXIST RUN STATE, HAPPENS THERE ! BUT FOR THE FORESEEABLE FUTURE, IT STILL LOOKS GOOD !

The entire beach in front of Jenkinson's Boardwalk (about 3/4 of a mile of the Point Pleasant beach) was closed due to a pending lawsuit from a drowning that occurred 2 years ago. In my opinion, this is a silly response by Jenkinson's Management to something that should be seen as a risk of doing business in NJ. The Boardwalk was open. Had enjoyable family reunion lunch at Jenkinson's Ocean Pavilion restaurant.

Typical Jersey shore town with beaches, boardwalk, marina, gift shops, and lots to do. Love driving through the small towns to the North, especially beautiful Spring Lake. To the South towards Bay Head and Lavallette you'll find gorgeous private homes on the lagoons and bay. Great vibes!

We had the worst beach weather possible but the boardwalk was very entertaining (albeit really expensive). 1 wrist bank for rides was $47.00 for 3 hours! I thought that was outrageous. Otherwise it was a great trip.

The staff could not be any more friendly and were extremely accommodating. The rooms were comfortable, clean, with the cutest beach decor. Coffee was available every morning for the guests. The view of the beach from our room was beautiful, private beach access, and the pool was great. The hotel, beach and boardwalk was family friendly. We will definitely be going back.

The location was great. Very close to the shore and walking distance to several seafood restaurants and a 7-11. We didn't arrive until 1am and the gentleman at the front desk waited for us before closing up for the night. Made sure we had ice and found our room okay. It's an older hotel, but our cleaning lady made sure our room was spotless.

Pleasantly surprised at the cuteness of this hotel. We only stayed 1 night but the staff was lovely during that time. The room was modern and very clean. We even had a chance to use the onsite bikes to ride to breakfast in the morning before we checked out. The 5 Ocean Cafe & Boutique had very cute beach accessories and iced coffee/ espresso.

The staff was super nice. The room was clean and the Maryland Ave beach was a short walk away. I liked the location of the hotel too because it was very quiet at the end of town, away from all of the chaos of the Point Pleasant boardwalk.
