The man there was awful very rude and disrespectful we booked a room and get there and he said he wanted a deposit on my bank card and would take money off the next day. When I explained that we were not aware of that he proceeded to argue about needing my bank card information. When I asked for a refund he refused to give me a refund. He was very ungrateful disrespectful and has no place working there. This was done through booking. I had to tell them my bank will be delivered with them. My personal opinion it's not worth going there with a very disrespectful man working there.

The location was very good as we wanted somewhere close to King's Dominion. Overall I wouldn't refuse to stay here again but there is a lot of room for improvement and it would need to be at a bargain price. No complaints regarding the cleanliness (some stains noted however) but there is a lot in disrepair. The room was also very spacious.

Location was currently under construction.
Room was very comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. Tiling in bathroom poorly installed, very tackily installation which spoils the rest room being perfect.
Featuring an outdoor pool and free Wi-Fi, this hotel is only a 5-minute walk from Kings Dominion Amusement Park. It is 1-mile off Interstate 95.

Very clean. Staff was friendly. Extremely convenient location as we went to Kings Dominion. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was a bigger size than most hotels. I saw on a previous review somewhere that the hot water ran out quickly. That was not our experience. The hot water ran nice and hot for a long time.

This place is dirty and in need of repairs. Carpets were grossly dirty. They used different sheets on each bed with marks on them. Im not sure the room was even cleaned because there were towels missing. We didnt get a breakfast because they said they dont do it. It was in the description on the travel site I used. The pool was closed up too. We could have paid a little more somewhere else and had these important features. The nightstand is too small if you have a bi-pap machine not much more can fit. The carpets and floors were so dirty my feet were filthy and had to be washed with baby wipes. There were huge gaps around the entry goor and lights showed through. It was scary with all the vehicle noises and men talking very loud when we were trying to sleep. The place needs new bedding, towels, and especially a new carpet. The filth was unhealthy in my opinion. I would never stay there again and wish I hadn't the first time.

This hotel was the nastiest hotel I have ever seen in my life, and I have traveled quite a bit. I tried leave once I seen the room, I was told that because of reservation made, I would have stay 24 hours before checking out. I originally booked the hotel for 7 days; I checked out the very next morning. We did not take our clothes off, we slept on top covers. We did not wash our face, before leaving we just left. We did unfortunately have to use the bathroom, when try to wash hands after the sink just filled up and did not drain. I truly believe the marks I seen on the wall was feces. The wash clothes were more than just stained. I could go on and on.

It was close to Kings Dominion about a 10 min ride, it served it's purpose somewhere to shower and sleep nothing to do at hotel but places to go nearby for food, ice cream and gas..Staff was very polite and room was o.k.

It was just a stop over exit after leaving a wedding.
It was just a stop over exit after leaving a wedding. I'm sure out in the actual town of Ruther Glen it is quaint but the truck stops and hotel area we stayed in was just that, nothing more than an exit off I95.

I (Lenora) was born and grew up in Ruther Glen, I graduated from Union High school '68. My parents are both deceased and we wanted to honor them by getting their off springs together. Four generations and everyone attended at the home that my daddy build and they raised six children.

It was alright when I checked the guy was friendly, but during the checkout the next morning went down to get the free breakfast they offer staff was not so friendly. The room was alright for what I paid for the room could use a little more cleaning mirrors was not cleaned needed to be dusted and had a cobweb on the wall
They didnt have extra pillows for my kids who slept on the pullout and the night desk staff acted like he didn't know anything or couldn't help me with anything, they didn't even have extra blankets only sheets for the pullout bed. The next morning the new desk person had no idea what she was doing because it was her very first day and had no on there with her helping her which was not her fault but ridiculous for the hotel! The breakfast included was not good either
This was by far the worse hotel I ever stayed in. There were ants in the bed, bugs in the room, stains in the carpet, soap scum in the shower, an abandon bus with strippers and prostitutes in the back, dirt on pillows, pee and other stains on bed, and other uncomfortable issues that I will not list. My children felt unsafe as well as myself.
Breakfast, no waffle mix available, hotel had an odd smell in the halls, attendant didn’t speak very good English, hot water was on the right side instead on standard hot on left, cold on right. Carpet on steps looked very dingy, all carpet in hallways needs replaced, shower tiles cracking.
Midnight check-in went quickly. Room was clean and reasonably quiet. Plenty of open spaces in the parking lot for my late arrival, despite the hotel being pretty full. Easy access off I-95. Good room at a good price for just a quick overnight on a road trip.
This is a great value hotel. Like most hotels of this age nationwide. They are being remodeled and brought back to life. Our room was newly remodeled it had all the luxury of a new room
There was nothing I liked about this hotel, I've never seen a hotel so dirty. Staff was not polite or helpful. I booked for a week and checked out the very next morning.
For such a cheap price, I was surprised by how nice the place was. Very clean, organized and huge rooms. Even had pool, weight room and free hot breakfast.
