Location is perfect. Plenty of good parking. The area outside has a lot of seating and was very well done and maintained. I was very impressed - and a bit sad as I couldn’t stay long enough to just enjoy the front outdoor area.

After calling the front desk (no one answered the phone) about loud, running footsteps and jumping in the room above us, my wife walked down to the desk to complain. After that, the noise continued for about 30 minutes. Then, I went down to follow up on our complaint. The man then called up to the room and asked them to quiet down (this was around midnight).

The Ocean Star Inn hotel is conveniently located just six miles from the 7 Cedars Casino.

I read previous reviews so knew what to expect. It’s nothing glamorous but was perfect for what we needed, a place to sleep and shower while we were out and about all day. The Front Desk was upfront and informed us that they were there if we needed them, otherwise, we would be left alone.

. I was far from home and needed somewhere to stay for the night and on a budget. Sundowner motel was it! Easy to locate in a nice quiet area, no issues with parking. It was such a relief to stay in a clean comfortable hotel that had such a cozy vibe to it. The gentleman that checked me in was very nice, making the check in and out quick and easy!
