Price was right. We were only in town for one night so there was no sense spending a ridiculous amount on a bed. The place was somewhat quiet, but the traffic outside could get noisy at times.

From the moment we walked in, Josh, the manager at the front desk was warm and welcoming. He quickly got us checked in and helped me register for the Bonvoy program so that we can earn points for future stays. Josh also shared about the indoor pool/gym hours and when the breakfast bar would be open. While they were unable to provide the typical continental breakfast due to kitchen issues, the staff provided plenty of pre-packaged items (yogurts, bagels, muffins, sausages, etc). The coffee was good too.
The staff here was phenomenal, very accommodating.

Lots of restaurants and history in this area. Cabelas too.
Lots of restaurants and history in this area. Cabelas too. Independence Hall was very informative and beautiful iron work inside if one likes the way things were built back in the day. Crossing the Ohio River is the First Suspension Bridge ever built that you can still walk across & watching the tug boats pushing the immense barges of coal down the Ohio is a site to see. Rachels Restaurant on 16th Street is right there along the park. Easy access in and out with THE best French dip sub ever! Reasonable prices. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Really enjoyed Oglebay's Aerial Challenge, The Good Zoo, train ride, glass museum. Visited Cabella Outfitters for first time - great learning experience for grand-daughter (multitude of stuffed wildlife with labels and information)
Great value — property was basic, but very clean and up-to-date, and breakfast was good. Rooms are small, but that is fine — I’m not vacationing, I just need a place to crash for the night. In light of the price, the Microtel exceeded my expectations. I was so happy with the value that I sought out a Microtel for the next night of my trip.
The staff was so nice my whole stay. Fresh cookies at check in! Breakfast hit all the marks. Nothing fancy but everything you need. My family stayed at a nearby hotel that was almost double the price for a slightly more modern room, but my room was clean and the bed was comfy. I would stay here again any time.
We booked this hotel on our travels back from Florida based on other reviews. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly. We saw that there were cookies out for the guests. The room we were given was clean. Room was a decent size. bathroom was clean. Overall a great hotel for the money that we spent.
The Highlands (Exit 10) is quite good with Cabella's , and lots of hotels, restaurants, pubs and shopping. Very convenient.
The Microtel hotel was great value and offered one of the best "hot breakfasts" that I've enjoyed. Or if you prefer there are plenty of restaurant options available.
Everything was wonderful! Very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast was great and staff was very helpful. We stop in Tridelphia a few times a year and have tried almost every hotel in the area. This was our first time staying here. It has now become our favorite!
Car broke down and had to stay here last minute. Both ladies at the front desk were super friendly and accommodating. They allowed us to check out 2 hours late after we explained our situation. Room was clean and was a great price. Great hotel!
Rooms were dirty ..left poop in the toilet from previous guests...also got a room for the teens found beer in the fridge, hair all over pillows and sheets, smelled like poop bc waste trucks surround the place
The breakfast was great! Many items to choose from, all of which were delicious. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Total atmosphere of hotel was very pleasant.
Second stay at this hotel. Like last time, the room was clean, the cost of reasonable, the staff were pleasant, and the breakfast was the best I've had at a hotel in over a year.
The lady on reception was great she even helped us find a hotel for our next stop . Room was good had a comfy couch. Fridge a coffee machine. Oh and free cookies at reception
