This hotel is right on a lake and has a great view. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We were on the first floor and had a sliding door and a porch. We were lucky enough to have stairs that led down to the lake. The real extra special treat to this hotel is MINT, the restaurant that is attached to the hotel. If you like Indian food, then you will be very happy. It is arguably some of the best Indian cuisine I have had. You know a hotel restaurant is good when more than just guests go there to eat.

It was historic and beautiful!!! The front porch is so relaxing and I lived they served food and drink on the porch!! The rooms were big and comfortable!! Parking super easy!!

We were greeted warmly by staff and were able to get into our room early. We were told, after checking in, that the bar area was closed that night for a private event - between 7 and 10 pm. That was a bummer. We'd likely have spent some time there.

The continental breakfast had products that were healthy not cheap. For example, the granola tastes homemade with gluten free options, Chiboni yogurt (not full of sugar), blueberries that are huge with no stems or bruising, and plenty of coffee to go (Keurig) or freshly brewed. The beds are comfy cozy, wishing I could have slept in!
