We went to the other side, Lerici and the towns around the Bay of Poets which was only a few minutes drive. Plus the hotel is close to one of my favorite towns, Sarzana, which has a great market every Thursday.

Hosted in a 19th-century house and located in the Ligurian countryside in Carasco countryside, Villa Paggi Country House boasts a large sea-view veranda and a shared garden. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site. It’s a beautiful villa in the mountains. Perfectly renovated. The room in the second night was not as beautiful as the first night. But it was our choice because we choose to stay another night without booking in advance. What we loved about this particular house was that Mariette (owner) build it up from ruins with her own two hands. She really put her whole heart into it, because the moment you move into that place you feel like you are at home. Very cosy place with two friendly dogs running around the beautiful garden overlooking hills and breakfast really made with love to everyone’s satisfaction. 10 out of 10. 🫶

Borgata Cantone Country House B&B is 10 km from the Albenga exit of the A10 motorway. The city of Alassio is a 20-minute drive away. Breakfast was exceptional; our host prepared fresh organic egg omelets for us each morning and there was always fresh pastries (homemade pies, tarts, breads). The design and architecture is very well thought out - it has an authentic Italian villa feel but with modern facilities like the bathrooms, spa and pool. Perfect and safe place to vacation with young children. Best part though was the host - we travel a lot and have stayed in many different types of accommodations around the world - Emanuel was incredible. I would come back here in a heart beat.

An 18th-century stone house with swimming pool, Il Nido nella Bionda features rustic rooms with wood-beamed ceilings and some with stone walls. It is in Brugnato, less than 1 km from the Shopinn Outlet. Fantastic stay again in a lovely old home. Great little pool and a great host in Marco. Breakfast has a good selection and it's lovely to be able to eat it outside. The location is great, 3 minute walk into the village where you'll find lots of restaurants for a village of its size.

Just 2 km outside Levanto in the Cinque Terre region, this charming country estate dates back to the 1700s. Guests enjoy a swimming pool, hot tub, free parking and a free transfer to Levanto.
