Everything was excellent! We liked the most the free access to the pools/spa area (unbelievable selection of heated pools, both outside and inside), the free parking, the very big room, and the breakfast.

Very beautiful place to spend a few days or even more than a week. Plenty things to do - hiking, spa relax, good restaurants, beautiful sceneries. In Bad Aussee there are several places to eat or buy groceries. Whithin a few minutes you reach a lake to swim or a beginning of a hiking path. Good position for visiting Hallstadt, Bad Ischl or Salzburg. If you want to have dinner in a restaurant it is good to make a reservation otherwise you may have a problem to get seats.

Bad Aussee is great location. Surrounded by the mountains. We made lots of nice trips to the great tourist attractions ( lakes, sightseeing points) . We visited Wolfgangsee lake and atter see Lake which were absolutely amazing.
Only the downside of it was the parking in the city.

Bad Aussee is a very good area for cross country skiing in the winter, and also for mountain biking in the summer. The Narzissentherme resort is also very nice. Bad Aussee is also near the Loser Ski area (15 minutes by car).

It is a small town so it is very important to take note of the schedule for the trains. Much easier to go by car. Taxi is economical if you are in a group of 4 or more.
It is a beautiful town with quaint shops selling quality items
However shops and restaurants close early so you may not be able to find food after 7-730pm.

The scenery was magnificent in any direction you looked.
The scenery was magnificent in any direction you looked. I did two separate walks to lakes which were fairly easy but very rewarding. The small size of the town made it easy to get around. It seems they don't get many non German speaking tourists as virtually all signage was in German only. Fortunately I have some basic tourist German which helped. Most staff in hotels, restaurants etc could speak English though.

Cute little town.
Cute little town. Good basis for exploring the Salzkammergut and neighbouring Grundlsee and Altausee (both can be reached without a car - either with the Postbus or the Narzissenjet service (helps if you can speak German)).
Apartment is very modern furnitured with new technology in some areas like place to put keys, modern water heater, lamps.. There are a plenty space for stuff. Bed is super big and comfortable. Rooms are big also. Location for visiting Hallstatt is good, 20min by car. View from window is fantastic. Nature all around fantastic. Lot of parking space.
Clean and very spacious apartment, possibility to buy homemade products from the farm, trouble-free communication with the landlady, equipment for children - table tennis, table football, Ride-on toy cars for children in pedal version, etc.
Breathtaking views were TOP. Thank you for a pleasant stay!
It was our second time in this place, which I guess says it all. We love absolutely everything here and will keep coming again. This apartment is perfect! Comfortable, spacious, located in a gorgeous area, with incredible mountains view from the balcony. Great value for money! Highly recommended!
I LOVE the building. A real touch of old Austria. Grand wooden staircase. Tiled floors, huge reception area with a sun lit porch where there was a good traditional Austrian breakfast. Transportation was close and convenient. The walk into town is easy.
Everything was excellent! We liked the most the free access to the pools/spa area (unbelievable selection of heated pools, both outside and inside), the free parking, the very big room, and the breakfast.
Food, facilities and Adults only spa area where you enjoyed the facilities naked. The service was very good and unobtrusive. The food choices were very good and the sommelier was very helpful.
Very nice spa area, lots of different saunas and steam rooms along with a nice swimming pool. Location is great as well. The rooms were pretty nice but too hot (see below).
Spacious, bright apartment with nice furnishing. Very comfortable bedspread. Perfect location for hiking or visiting Hallstatt and the lakes of Salzkammergut.
