DISASTER. READ THIS ENTRY BEFORE YOU BOOK. CAMINO TRAVELERS BEWARE. We left a negative review after the first night and the hotel then canceled our reservation on booking.com so our bad review would not show. They reported to booking we failed to show up even though we were inside the room for the second day. Booking at our request put the reservation back in place and then the owner cancelled it a second time while we were in the room after we again post our negative review. Clearly by doing this they are avoiding bad reviews on booking so their ratings show mostly positive. After another hour online with booking we were able to leave these facts and review m. Our complaint was about the air conditioning not working and the room extremely hot. We eventually opened the window at night to the sounds of busy traffic and flies from the river. Owner is dishonest.

It felt very special to stay here. The women were exceptionally nice and helpful, calling for us to check farmacia hours, and making a lovely breakfast in the morning. Our room overlook the river and was very, very comfy. It had a big bathtub and we both had a long soak. We highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful grounds, spacious and quiet. Lots of lively flowers and loved the traditional horreo! Still a little cool for the swimming pool, but it looked very inviting. Ursula and Dani are excellent hosts who are friendly and knowledgeable, and who care about every detail. Delicious breakfast and hospitality is their middle name!
