There was a lovely village within walking distance which had an authentic restaurant. The Hotel itself was charming and typical basque structure . This place is very popular with Camino de Santiago walkers, however we were just there for 2 nights before meeting up on a Picos Trek. He gave us some local info on walks which was lovely and quiet. We had the evening meals which were very tasty and very reasonably priced.
