Burgos was a great place, some historical Churches, the vibe of the city was great. Had to get our head around the restaurant opening and closing times, but once we knew it was alright. Yes I would recommend this city to friends.

Found a lovely place to eat Pinchos (tapas) very nice and not far from the hotel. The city is beautiful with so many buildings of architectural interest. Only staying one night whilst travelling through Spain was not enough time to appreciate everything the hotel had to offer.

We went to Burgos for the Cathedral and were not disappointed. The City centre is pedestrianised so it was easy to stroll around and find good tapas bars. There is a riverside park which must be lovely in the Summer.

Burgos is an historic city, still with lots of lovely buildings. It is quite small, so easy to get around. The centre is partly pedestrianised, has lots of restaurants, bars, squares and parks so is very tourist-friendly.
The cathedral is splendid but not really to my taste. The new Museum of the Evolution of Man shows off the recent local discoveries of prehistoric
hominids which are by far the oldest in Europe. But it's aimed at adults, especially Spanish-speakers, not so much families.
Burgos celebrates its most famous son - El Cid - and being on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela.

I liked the old town, its plethora of Romanesque churches and the Cathedral. I really liked the museum that was opposite our accommodation in Calle Miranda. For just one euro one can see artifacts from celt-iberian peoples, Greek, Roman and Spanish Medieval. All this is housed in a 15th century residence of a Canon from the Cathedral.
There was some great places to eat. I highly recommend Cerveceria 100 Montitos.
Wonderful, graceful hotel right across from the Burgos cathedral. Parking was an additional 15 euros but right next to the hotel and easy to find and get into. Very professional staff, who gave us an upgrade to a room with a view without our asking and provided all the info we needed on sights and restaurants. Room was large and comfortable with a nice old-world quality. Gave us coffee in the morning even though we didn't pay for breakfast. Highly recommended.
The Landa is a very unique special hotel. It is old style Spanish with a beautiful courtyard to enjoy a lunch or drink in. To watch beautifully dressed people and traditionally dressed Spanish children. It is a 5 minute taxi ride into Burgos and its incredible cathedral and cafe culture. For a shopaholic there is an El Corte Ingles Hipacor 5 minutes drive a way to.
We have stayed at Hotel Maria Luisa many times when in Burgos. Location is good and about a 15 minute walk to the Cathedral/Plaza Mayor area with many bars and restaurants. Best of all, the hotel has parking available (for a fee) in the car park across the street. A modest breakfast buffet is served at a reasonable price. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
The room was comfortable and well equipped. Above all, however, the staff were friendly and helpful. I had cycled to Burgos and putting my bike in a secure location within the hotel posed no problem for them whatsoever. Breakfast was good and at €7.70 very good value. I have no hesitation whatsoever in wholeheartedly recommending the Hotel Norte y Londres.
Burgos is a small city but sadly it does not have many good hotels. The lovely hotel which we stayed in last year was already booked up, so we stayed at the Abba hotel this year, instead. The location was very good and the breakfast was also very good, with a huge selection of choices including a fresh orange juice machine.
The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location of the hotel was in the heart.of Old Town & a few minute walk to the Burgos Cathedral. The front desk staff were very helpful. The breakfast in the morning was nice as well. I would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is easy to find as it is close to the main highways that serve Burgos. Free parking space around the hotel. Inside, the hotel is modern and updated. The room we were given was also updated. Very, very comfortable bed. Price wise, it was good value for money.
Perfect location. A few minutes from the Cathedral and many good restaurants. The hotel in general and the rooms are very modern, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff was very nice and we were able to do early check-in.
It is an exceptional hotel. The staff were brilliant and the facilities were great.
Only problem is that it’s hard to walk anywhere so a car is more or less essential. Also Burgos is a lovely and interesting city.
Perfect location if you are driving into Burgos: there's a parking garage right around the corner, and the hotel is directly across from the main entrance gate to the old city, very close to the cathedral.
The location was great to get into Burgos centre. The staff were very friendly and breakfast was good. Free on road parking outside the hotel. Great value for money.
Great location! A block from the Camino and near historic district. The front desk clerk was super helpful with a map and recommendations of sites to see in Burgos.
