Camaleno was a great base for our trip to Los Picos de Europa. Location was perfect for access to Potes, and also Fuente De. The Gargantua del Cares was a 90 minute drive away, but this was an experience in itself! For people who like the outdoors this was a great pick.

There is a nice garden on site, free to use. Location was great as it let us go directly up the mountains of Picos de Europa which are closer than in Potes for example. Many great places around to visit! Also there was a nice local cheese store right next to the hotel. Places to eat was a bit hard to find but with some guidance we went to San Pelayo village where there was a nice restaurant in the camping site.PāvelsLatvia

We had a room with a view to the mountains and it was so nice just to sit on the balcony on an evening looking out over the fields and nature. The owners were so lovely and the hotel was absolute beautiful, top quality all round. We had breakfast brought out to us on the lawn with white table linen. We both couldn't have asked for more. The pool area is lovely and basically everything about the place, we loved it. If every hotel was run half as good as this it would be great.
