An enormous room with an equally enormous terrace with view across the river and to the old town with table and chairs. Breakfast was a plentiful buffet with hot, cold, savoury and sweet options; a delight. Dinner this year was better than the year before; good produce well cokked. The menu included water and a bottle of wine for 2. Located 2 minutes from a free car park, 5 minutes walk from the escaltors that take you up to the old town and 10 minutes from the train station. The staff are exceptional.

We stayed in a huge room (quadruple), with 2 comfortable bathrooms, each contained toilet and bath with the jacuzzi (though we didn't use the jacuzzi), comfortable beds.

gorgeous setting built in to the old city wall ! great old building . Conveniently located close to the mechanical stairs to the citadel. the restaurant served excellent food in a beautiful setting . Professional and friendly staff!
