We stayed in a quiet bungalow in the garden and all was great. The staff is very attentive and friendly. The bed is very comfortable. We ate all of our meals there as well and the food was fantastic prepared from the finca. It is great to go there and unplug. Nice and quiet out in nature. We slept great too.

The location was very quiet which is exactly what we wanted. The house was lovely and big and had everything you needed (well maybe a kettle would have been nice). The beds were very comfortable and the shower was amazing, it was like you were having a massage while having a shower. I would recommend stopping at a supermarket on the way from the airport as there are no local shops open if arriving late at night. There is a bakery in the little village Tirajana (Tunte) which is a 5-minute drive and has amazing pastries and bread.
Offering a garden and city view, La finca del don Ganapati is situated in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, 30 km from Yumbo Centre and 32 km from Aqualand Maspalomas.

Biggest advantages are calmness and beautiful views. Even though the host didn't speak English fluently he was very friendly, welcoming and ready to help us with everything. We stayed in a tent for six people and it was spacious enough for everyone. It was an amazing experience for one night and would definitely recommend it if you don't have expectations for it to be like a luxury hotel.

Horst and Ernesto are amazing hosts -- they really made me feel at home. Everything was taken care of (extra water, blankets, flexible meal time, tea) and they were so kind to pick me up from the bus stop. This has become my newest favorite retreat. Will definitely come back!

Cozy apartment with a luscious garden with vegetables that we harvested to consume a salad. We also enjoyed the warm salt pool and a beautiful night sky. The host is very friendly and showed us everything. I definitely recommend it!

So pretty lots of nice touches. I would’ve liked to find a little bit of milk in the fridge but you recommended us a really good place of the road which was fabulous for lunch so I can’t complain about anything. He was an exceptional host. The Jacuzzi wouldn’t work, but that was just my bad luck and it was very much a last-minute booking so he didn’t have the chance to heat it up for us, but knowing the gentleman I’m sure he would’ve done he was super nice super accommodating and the place was super cute you wouldn’t know it was there And then there you are in the mountains completely private I walked around naked it was great

Fataga was a very small pretty village, most visitors used the 2 hourly bus from the coast and wandered around till the next bus. Also a stop off for various tour buses and safari tours. Not many facilities, and the village bars etc closed at 5.00 (despite notified closure hours). We had a car so were able to go out and visit elsewhere and get food and meals. However fantastic views and really quiet.

A super first floor apartment in the heart of the pretty village of Fataga. Very clean and well equipped with lovely hosts, David, and his mum, Maria!
We would suggest that a hire car is probably advisable although there are public buses which seem to run on a regular basis.
We loved the fresh oranges kindly provided by our hosts and we can honestly say they are the best oranges we have ever tasted!
Fataga is a great base for hiking in the surrounding area and the scenery is fabulous. However, it is only about a 30 minute drive to Maspalomas on the coast.
We can highly recommend a stay in this lovely apartment and we look forward to returning in the near future.

Fataga is a lovely village with very friendly and helpful...
Fataga is a lovely village with very friendly and helpful locals. The oetrol prices were considerably lower than in the major tourist resorts. The local restaurants, though very few, offer excellent food, service and value for money. A big shout for El Labrador, best T-Bone ever!!!There are many fincas and B&B's at very reasonable prices. Our recommendation is Tomas y Puri. A lovely couple (no spring chickens!) who, along with their staff, provide a very enjoyable experience at a definitely affordable price.
Large hotel complex, each room with its own veranda and separate entrance. It is clear that there are a lot of people in the complex - but no one interferes with anyone.
Lots of greenery, oranges grow right over your head, very nice.
The room is spacious. the kitchen has everything you need from a coffee maker to a spoon.
The bathroom is equipped with a personal hot water boiler and a washing machine.
Bed linen and towels were changed almost every 3 days.
And a bonus, from time to time, Canarian sweets appeared on the dining table.
Casa Elisa Canarias is located in a picturesque village called Fataga. We wanted something different from beach hotels and we were satisficed with our choice. The room had a private parking place and kitchen. There are hiking tracks nearby, one day we walked to the neighbor little town San Bartolomé, which took about 2 hours one-way. The village has 3 restaurants. We used mostly a place called El Albaricoque, it has great service, a nice terrace and provides good local food, only opening hours could be longer.
The apartment was nice. Ours also had a large terrace with a great view. The hotel needs to improve two things though. First, they only accept cash, which can translate in extra charges for people with international bank accounts. Secondly, at the premises we were told that the wifi was only available in the common areas downstairs and not in the apartments. Even in the common areas wifi was weak at best. The hosts were very nice and the location is great. I would definitely go back if those issues were solved
David and the other members of staff were really helpful and welcoming. Easy car-parking right outside. The rooms of the apartment were spacious, bright and clean with sunshine throughout the day if you want it and good shutters if you don't. A good kitchen with everything you might need, good cooker, fridge-freezer, etc. Fataga is a charming little village with plenty going on during the day but lovely and quiet at night. Overall a great place to stay, especially if you like to do your own thing.
The host David and his mother were just incredibly nice and so welcoming! They were giving us tips what to see around see island, asked frequently how we were doing, gave us fresh oranges and lemons and were just sweet and gorgeous.
The view from the balcony in to the mountains of Fataga is stunning. With a car you get very fast to spots to go hiking or to the beach. In addition there is a bus operating.
Overall we fully enjoyed our stay with David and can fully recommend the apartment!
We had a fantastic stay and loved the property. Comfy beds, great bathrooms, it had everything we needed for the week, and it was great to relax in the jacuzzi on the roof after a day of hiking or cycling.
Fataga is only small and quiet, the only noise being a rooster who provided a natural alarm clock. You can get a few provisions locally, but we shopped in Maspalomas. In general, it was a great base to explore the highlands.
The property has a great location, being almost in the centre of Fataga and very close to two excellent restaurants. The room was much above average size, and the kitchen/breakfast area has a balcony with views over countryside and mountains. There is a BBQ and jacuzzi, although we did not use these. Very clean. Very quiet.
Everything was perfect! The host was super helpful, amazing attention to details, great breakfast and super nice garden! There is very nice hike next to the house- highly recommend it. Fataga is small but super beautiful town with many local artists and rural Palomar is def the best place to stay!!!
Location (Fataga) is fantastic if you like hiking. If you adjust your plans to bus schedules, you can even get around without a car. The owner was super friendly and helpful, he picked us up from the airport and we stopped by in a large supermarket near the coast to stock up on food.
The bungalow have great privacy and the sun reaches the terrace early in the morning. If you bike it is also convenient to load it. It is close to the village Fataga where you can find great restaurants!
Fataga is a pretty place. Having breakfast alongside the pool between sunny mountains is nice. The apartment is not large, but has everything you need.
