Our host was exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Despite this being a last minute booking he laid on a delicious evening meal for us made with fresh produce from his farm. Our room was cosy and full of character. We were welcomed with a delicious breakfast the next morning. This is a very special place steeped in history and well worth a visit. Great location, facilities and host. We had a slight issue which was swiftly resolved once we let the host know. The area around is wonderful with lots of wildlife, walks, bars/restaurants and activities. Cantabria is a wonderful relaxed place to explore.

It was very quiet and peaceful. Very small village with narrow road for a 2 ways traffic.
I was on a working trip so for me it was perfect to enjoy the view of the nature after a long working day.

The location is great, landscape wise, the surroundings all perfect.
The apartment I got, was on the second floor,a one bedroom apt. it had a cool little window with views to mountain and fields. it looked smaller than in the photos though. The kitchenette had the appliances, microwave and vitro ceramic plaque, dishes and all that. it had the sofa bed and one double bed as mentioned. but the apartment can be a little dark. I would say is ok for short stay, no more than one or two nights. unless if your travelling solo. with kid can be a little small. they accept pets which for me was important. It does look renovated and with new appliances.
