Rooms were very nice and we took advantage of the spa. We eat there in the evening as there aren’t many places to choose from in the area. And we all enjoyed the meal.

Residence to the ‘Marquis of Santillana’ back in the 15th century, the building has now been carefully renovated into this delightful 5-star hotel.

The staff at this small hotel are lovely, very welcoming, very helpful and greeting you with a smile. Restaurant/bar was small and intimate. we had dinner at the hotel and it was excellent, and very well priced. Breakfast was very good also, good selection of pastries, bread, yoghurt, ham and scrambled eggs. Cheese also, but I do not like cheese, so left alone!

This hotel is set in a cliff-top castle overlooking the beach of Los Locos and the Bay of Biscay. Its headland location offers spectacular views of the sea and the dramatic coastline.

The view from the room was exceptional. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking nearby was free. The food is the restaurant was really tasty, particularly breakfast. We had a minor problem with the room and the staff resolved this immediately. We will use again.

Housed in a traditional, mountain property dating from the 18th century, La Casa del Organista is a lovely, rustic-style hotel, located in Cantabria, near Santander.

I cannot rate this place highly enough. I got there at 10am and knew my room would not be ready. Rafi took my bag , took me to the car park and when I told him I had travelled through the night and would need to sleep in the afternoon, he changed my room to the quietest part of the hotel so I would not be disturbed. Breakfast was continental but had everything from freshly made toast to hams cheeses eggs and pastries plus freshly squeezed orange juice and delicious coffee. A wonderful start to my Camino journey. I hope to return

Superb Parador, grandeur, nice personnel and good food

Just across the promenade from the beach in Suaces, La Concha offers wonderful views and easy access to many of Cantabria’s main attractions. It has free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel.

Great location receptionist was so helpful and was fantastic making sure our motorcycles were safe, breakfast excellent
