The hotel is an attractive old building situated in a small village surrounded by hills and mountains, I'm thinking of going back sometime to do some walking in the countryside around the village. We were travelling North to catch the ferry to Portsmouth from Santander and wanted an overnight stop within easy reach of Santander. The hotel is about 5 minutes off the A67 motorway, so access is quite easy. Fernando on reception was friendly and helpful. He kept apologising for his poor English, but it was good enough for us to easily understand him. The room was tastefully decorated and had a good view from the window. Breakfast was self service with typically Spanish items available, more than adequate.
B&B El Jardín de Aes is a renovated 18th-century colonial house, located 500 metres from Cantabria’s Puente Viesgo. Set in gardens, it features an outdoor pool, free WiFi and free parking.
