Oia is a lovely little village.
Oia is a lovely little village. There are only a few restaurants but very good. There is a supermarket that sells just about everything and on Saturday night we were entertained by locals playing traditional music and singing in one of the local bars.

She was incredibly kind and generous, helping us to procure food for dinner and offering her washing machine and line to dry our clothes. They served a good breakfast starting at 7:30, and gave package breakfast to those people leaving before 7:30 AM. We also were able to have a good dinner there, so we did not have to walk/drive to find food. There is a small grocery a few hundred yards away.David DUnited States

A beautiful hotel on the hill overlooking the monastery. We had a gorgeous room overlooking the little town, mountain and a glimpse of the sea. It was our first bath in weeks, so loved being able to soak after a long day of walking. We had a delicious pilgrim meal for dinner, as well as a yummy hearty breakfast. Our bags went missing and they went to extraordinary lengths to find them. We cannot thank them enough. Although we didn't eat our evening meal there as we had eaten earlier, the dining area was full and we had a fabulous breakfast the next morning. It is in a beautiful idyllic location and as it is a little further away from Oia/restaurants, we were offered a free private transfer to the restaurant by the friendly hosts. I would come back any time!
