We stayed at Casa Licerio while on the Camino. Our room was had a good size and came with a balcony. However, the bathtub was very tiny. We liked its location towards the end of town right on the Camino. You might find a better option for breakfast at Euro 7.

The owners were incredibly nice and we were treated like locals at the bar at night. I highly recommend you get the Costillas (pork ribs) as your segundo, they were part of the menu of the day and the best thing we’d had along the Camino.

It was clean, well-staffed and the bed was extremely comfortable. Exactly what I needed after a long day on the Camino. Perfecto.
My hosts were overwhelming in their hospitality. They asked me when and what I'd like for dinner. They asked me when and what I'd like for breakfast. The food was amazing, and they were extremely generous with the food as well.
The room was simple, but extremely roomy, with a comfortable bed, and a homey rural esthetic. A packet of shower gel, shampoo, a toothbrush and toothpaste were offered, though I'd brought my own with me.
This was a perfect stop after Samos, and close to Sarria on the Camino. Rural Galician perfection.
Excellent hotel located at the end of the village. Warm reception. My room was spotless with twin beds. No tv. Bathroom was shared but spotless also, towels provided. Shower was excellent after long tough walk. There was tea or coffee making freely available in a common room across from mine. There was a vending machine on my floor for snacks and reasonably priced. Laundry facilities were available at upper floor but you needed 4 x1 euro coins and I had none. Outside, there were cafes, restaurants, bars nearby for food.
The woman who received me was so helpful and gracious. She explained that she could not be at the hotel the next morning and told Correos who was transporting my luggage. She had arranged to have me take my bag to the Bar nearby. She said to call her with any questions or concerns. She was wonderful
The room was clean, modern, and had a a great view of the monastery.
I was a little surprised that in the room there was shampoo but no soap. A minor issue of course compared to the overall experience of staying there !!
The Best Place to Stay on the Camino. Make sure you don’t miss a night here. You won’t regret it. Best night’s sleep. The rooms are so comfortable and everything is spotless. The breakfast is us a feast and presented so lovely. The host is so welcoming and as someone who has walked the camino she makes sure you have everything you could possible need. Such a lovely person. She has great recommendations for the best places to eat. Samos is a very chilled village.
I’ve stayed in Hotel A Veiga four times, always as part of doing the Camino Francés. Every single time my stay has been amazing and memorable, in particular their food, which is always generous and tasty. This time I walked with my assistance dog, a happy Chocolate Labrador which enjoyed their beautiful and well groomed yard in the back of the property. I look forward to my next stop at Samos, and I will return to A Veiga.
Nuria is such a wonderful host - she has a ton of experience walking on the camino and cares a lot about the pilgrims and guests who pass through Samos. The room was cozy and clean. Breakfast was really delicious (it's a long walk to Sarria and there's not much open between Samos in the winter at least). I felt very well cared for during my stay here. Thank you!
We had a great stay at Casa Licerio in Samos. Sadly, we were Cecilia’s last guests before closing up shop.
The property was beautiful and homey, and Cecilia was an absolutely lovely person. She was so friendly and helpful, and made us a spectacular breakfast on the day we left.
So sad that her business will no longer be around for others to enjoy.
The house was stunningly beautiful. Located in Samos, a very beautiful detour from the original Camino. The hostess was very kind. I had one of my best nights sleep in the king-size bed. Other accomodation such as bathroom and kitchen facilities had everything you needed
There is a bar and a great restaurant by the river. Very nice owners and staff (even one fan of Ajax Amsterdam⚽️). Rooms are very confortable for a fair price. The splendid Monasterio de Samos is well worth the beautifull detour of the Camino. Warmly recommended!
This has been the most amazing property we have ever stayed at. Location is perfect. Spotless and so elegant and tastefully done. The stone work is amazing. I can’t say enough about our stay here. The owner was lovely and obviously took great pride in her hotel.

This is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy Samos. access to the Camino, easy. Spotlessly clean and a wonderful staff. Beautiful place and people. So patient with my terrible Spanish. highly recommended
Great location near the monastery. Clean rooms and good laundry area. Samos is a beautiful village and well worth the few extra kilometres from Triacastella to Sarría.
