The staff were really friendly despite me not being able to understand Spanish but they were very patient. The location has great views and shops and a restaurant underneath where I had breakfast and lunch everyday. Good value for money and would definitely go back there and recommend it.

We checked in at the bar below the hotel. Check in was easy and the host showed us to our room. He explained that it was Carnaval weekend in San Martin del Tesorillo and that the streets would be noisy. He kindly offered us an upgraded room on the 3 floor to try to minimize the noise. The room was large, very comfortable and recently renovated. I know other reviews have complained about the noise from the bar. That was not an issue for us. Recommended.

Location 100% perfect straight out onto paseo which has a number of restaurants/cafes etc
Overall if all you want is a basic hotel and not too bothered with luxury then this hotel is fine. The majority of staff are friendly and courteous
All rooms at Milla de la Plata offer spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea and the Strait of Gibraltar. The hotel is situated in a quiet cove just 2 km from Puerto de Sotogrande Port.

I love how the rooms all face out to the ocean. You can see the beach, Gibraltar, Africa and along the coast all from the comfort of your balcony.

I work for a sustainable investment company, but I couldn’t understand no mugs for tea and coffee (equally as efficient but far nicer than paper cups), and tins for water when in the restaurant there are nice glass bottles we could have in the room to refill.

Lovely clean room. Young man on reception was very welcoming and friendly and spoke excellent English. Very accommodating in securing my bicycle overnight. Shower nice and warm. Bed comfortable. Fridge in room but didn’t use it. Excellent and reasonably priced evening meal. Overall a wonderful experience.

This simple guest house near the seaside is near a spa and fitness centre. It has an excellent location for leisure, including many nearby golf courses.

Great welcoming staff, and it was very clean throughout. Large room, simple but everything you need for a night stay. Great bar and a good menu for tapas and snacks. We didn't have breakfast but saw them being served as we left, and they looked great. Perfect for a night stop over travelling for work.

The local food was excellent and spending the late afternoon in the square drinking a beer looking at the town people coming and going was a great experience.
