We arrived at 5.00pm and nothing was open, even for a drink, until 8.30! We left the car and taxied into Salamanca for the evening (about €10 each way) although there is a bus every hour outside the front of the hotel, which we had just missed, The receptionist (Alba) deserves a special mention as she was charming and very helpful. We were also lucky because it was very good weather, so we could fully enjoy it. I also like that it is so easy to park the car there and it is for free. The personnel is super friendly.
