The write up was great but the reality was totally different. If we could have found the property (there was no number 4 in a line of similar looking blocks of buildings) and had we been given an accurate description of the built-up area from the owners, we might have saved being charged 140 euros by them for nothing and then having to book into a hotel nearby!

From our one overnight stop, it appears that the town has seen much better times. Seedy & run-down was our general impression. Perhaps there are some nice bits; we might have been unlucky to have stayed in the poor part of town (it was certainly a horrible hotel).

Just 6.500 inhabitants village receiving 150.000 tourists.
Just 6.500 inhabitants village receiving 150.000 tourists. No parking places for everyone. Good restaurants, good food at Tropocal, excellent ice creams, a very narrow stripe of beach packed of people. I have mixed feelings. If I would come back? No. I don’t think so… but we never say never isn’t it?

Lovely sandy beach and promenade that stretches for miles with pine forest either end with a host of shops and cafes.
Further inland a host of activities to choose from ,but out of season very likely these will be closed up.

The hotel is a 2 stars hotel - my expectations before arrival were a bit lower than what I experienced in reality. I liked the staff, above all the lady at the reception who accepted to wait for me for late check-in (after 9 pm). My room had a balcony, toilette and shower separated from each other in the room. Everything was very clean. Big flat screen TV, perfect functioning WiFi (free of charge). I did not use the pool, but there is one. The parking is spacious.
We could spend the whole day there easily, never the less it's easy to access beach and the town with some restaurants. Several pools for children to play, also heated. Kids club available in the morning. The mobile home was spacious and practical enough.
Helene was able to accommodate us last minute and arriving late in the evening after we were let down by pre-booked accommodation. Clean facilities, a cot was provided for the baby and Helene was a wonderful host. Breakfast was brilliant.
Location was great, all amenities close by and beach 5 min walk. Hotel lovely & clean with a lovely garden where you could sit and have a drink. Staff very friendly and free car park opposite hotel. We will definitely be going back 😊
Everything. Accommodation excellent. Site was spotless as was the pool. Staff extremely friendly, professional and very helpful. Conveniently positioned to the town and beach. Quiet area conducive to relaxing
The location was great - easy walk to the beach, and a short bus trip to both Notre-Dame-De-Monts and Saint-Jean-De-Monts.
Facilities were very clean, and the pool was much loved by kids and adults alike!
The apartment was absolutely fabulous, very spacious, immaculately clean and very well looked after. It had a fantastic view of the beach and the underground garage was a welcome added bonus
The on site facilities were very good and the site was very clean and tidy. A great location for Cycling and within walking distance of some fabulous beaches.
Very nice and breakfast with a lot to offer ! You do pay enough for it as well.
Hotel very close to the sea and offers a nice spa.
