Hôtel L'orque Bleue, hotel in Sète

Ideally located along the Royal Canal in Sète, Hôtel L'orque Bleue is set in a Hausmannian-style building dating from the 19th century.

The hotel staff was very friendly, and helpful. Also th rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is really excellent, and we really liked having a tiny, almost separated area for our child to sleep in so we could still watch TV and talk once she was asleep. The hotel building was beautiful too.

Hotel Regina, hotel in Sète

Located in the heart of Sète, Hotel Regina is just 820 feet from the Canal Royal and 0.6 mi from Sète Train Station.

The room was impeccably clean, had a great shower, a very comfortable bed, and the woman at reception was kind and very helpful. I was a hesitant to confirm my reservation, because it was a last minute trip and Hotel Régina is only a 2-star hotel. (This week in August, all the other hotels were fully booked!) It was, however, perfect for me. I’d definitely go there again.

Sete is a bit Venice but without the tourists.

Sete is a bit Venice but without the tourists. It is full of locals and local life, with fishing boats, some tour boats, yachts and even car ferries. The fantastic indoor market and restaurants specialise in seafood, particularly oysters - very reasonably priced. There are lovely walks up to Mont St-Clair, with its amazing views, or out to the lagoon or west along the miles of wide sandy beaches. There is a lot of handsome architecture in Sete and a lovely park.

The town is so walkable, yet there is still so much to see. So many different little areas and so charming. I never stopped eating as there is so much food to try. The Halles market is amazing! It has a very authentic feel, laid back...you feel like a local!

Wonderful town with a special feel, great resturants, shops, walk among the waters edge. Very easy to wander, a little difficult to park but a good underground carpark on the central road. Will look out for chances to visit again.

We ate in Sete twice, but were twice disappointed. The town of Sete was dirty and crowded. It was difficult to park in Sete, and difficult to drive around at the time we went (July) as it was very busy on the roads. I would not visit Sete again.

    I liked Sete.

I liked Sete. It was a good place to finish my bike ride from St Malo. However, it was also a bit too big and busy so a day less would have been good. Lots of restaurants, bars and places to just hang out and watch the world go by. A good train service to Montpellier.

The hotel is wonderfully located across street from a canal and walkable to train station. There is a very extensive breakfast. But the service was the best. We were biking the Canals de Deux Mers on our own for two weeks and sent our small rolling bags via poste to the Azur where we ended our trip and they kept them for 9 days for our arrival. Then we left our bikes at the hotel where the transport company picked them up two days later and they were willing and efficient to do so. Thanks much Hotel Azur!

The front desk staff were remarkable, very helpful and informative. The location is central to the beach district and city core. A nice scenic 30-minute walk into the center of town and 10-minutes to the beaches. The hotel has roller shutters which dramatically reduce any traffic noise. Parking was not an issue at all as there was plenty of nearby angled street parking which was safe and readily accessible. Desk staff are very helpful in determining and recommending best options for parking your auto

The location of this hotel is perfect! We were right on the canal and able to walk from the hotel to a number of different restaurants and shops. Sete is such a beautiful town, I wish we had more than one night to explore it! We stayed in 2 triple rooms with our group of 6 people and I loved how it was set up with the third bed around the corner from the main bed. The rooms were spacious and clean. We would definitely stay here again!

The location of this hotel is absolutely brilliant, practically in view of the train station and really near the town centre. There's no denying it's basic but it's honestly perfect if you're on a bit of a budget. The bed was comfortable, the water pressure was great and it was faultlessly clean. The staff were really great in communications before I arrived and very friendly throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

The host was very attentive and pleasant. The accommodations appear to be brand new. The street level of the BnB is made up of 3 guest rooms with bath plus a common sitting/TV area plus a kitchen that is always available. The location is great! Free parking out front. It's about a 10 min. walk to central Sète. It's quiet! There's a great takeout pizza place close by. Guests have control of the heat in the room.

The hotel is in a great position for exploring Sète and very handy for the restaurants. The staff are lovely. The rooms are air-conditioned which was very welcome! My room was at the back which was very quiet. I wish I could have afforded to have a canal room view but then I might not have found it so peaceful

Though compact, the hotel tries to offer everything a traveller’s might need. The room was small but well designed and comfortable. We were only there for the night only and were sorry to leave because the beach was so inviting. There is a restaurant and bar facing the beach where we had dinner.

Room was large (we had a junior suite) and had electric shutters to keep out light and noise. Location was ok but there’s not much around, especially out of season. It’s about 30 min easy walk to the harbour. Parking was easy at the hotel but need to book beforehand. Staff are helpful.

The studio has a great location. It also has a very comfy bed and a spacious wardrobe. Both of these are not common in this category and I absolutely enjoyed sleeping in a comfy bed compared to the sofa beds. If I come back to Sete (without a car) I would stay here again.
