Lovely French city close to the Luxembourg and German border...
Lovely French city close to the Luxembourg and German border. The old time is picturesque giving Spanish vibes. There are few farmers markets on the weekends that provide expansive range of local produce. Lots of cafes, bakeries and walks to take. Easy access to the waterfront for a lovely stroll or run. It was more than what we expected.

We were travelling through Europe by car and accidentally chose Thionville because it was perfectly located on our route and we had read several recommendations about the town. It may be that we missed out on things, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't really have a reason to go there. The town is very dirty and worn down. There are shady people downtown at night and we couldn't get out of the quickly enough. The picture is from downtown Thionville.

We only stayed one brief night in Thionville, as we were commuting from Luxembourg and made an early start. It was very helpful that the hotel was close to the motorway, although the location was very quiet.

The Inn was really comfortable, clean and quite, we all slept really well at night, the parking very practical and the staff are nice and helpful. The room (studio) has everything we needed. We just wanted a small basic coffee machine (press) as a bonus but that wasn't a real issue :)

Lovely downtown. Great to walk along the Mozelle river.
Lovely downtown. Great to walk along the Mozelle river. Nice variety of restaurants. Beautiful park easily accessible and everything felt very safe. One disappointing thing was the only bike rental location In town was requiring €150 deposit in cash for each bike rental.
THotel location was great, just a very short walk to the railway station and also taxis. Staff were helpful and nice. My room was cleaned well during my stay. The bed was comfortable and large enough (I am 1.85m) . The shower was really good. The bathroom was very modern and clean. Breakfast was good, eat as much as you like, so I did. There was no kettle in the room, however I did expect this.
The flexibility of the night manager when we arrived (after serious travel problems) tired and hungry at nearly 2am was noteworthy, making it possible for us to have a "night breakfast" before going to bed. The hotel is only a short walk from the centre of Thionville with a small park in front that cuts traffic noise to negligeable levels.
They have a very nice roof deck. The breakfast options were plentiful. Gluten-free bread was available. So was fresh-squeezed orange juice.
We were traveling by bicycle and the hotel provided a secure, indoor room for us to store our bikes in.
The apartment is spacious, full of light and has everything you need for a short stay. It is located within walking distance to the centre of Thionville and the Moselle. The private parking space is a big plus.
We stayed at the ACE Thionville on our way back from Italy. The hotel is located conveniently just off the highway. The rooms are simple, but clean and the hotel provides a surprisingly good breakfast.
Very comfortable stay in the middle of the town. hardly 5-7mins walk from the thionville station (although google shows a longer path). very welcoming and helpful staff. clean rooms.
We always like this hotel when we travel. It's clean, good size bathroom and room. close at the road, but no noise. Dog friendly. The young man is always very nice, all staff is
Parking on site in a secured garage just under the hotel building. The room is small, very basic, but also functional, good enough for one night. Very clean. Wifi is fast.
amazing staff, very professional, efficient and friendly.
the place is located in the centre of town.
the rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.
I recommend this hotel.
