A centrally located hotel that is very comfortable and great value for money. Our room was large and airy, and the bed was very comfortable. Everything was spotlessly clean. The staff are helpful and welcoming. Breakfast was great, too!

We ended up staying a second night as it was a great spot. It’s a lovely old pub and well worth staying. Very good value.

Location and easy access. Our rooms were across the road so we were not disturbed by the noise or any other issues. Comfortable . Lovely beer garden and nice breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful . Highly recommend the area as lots to see . Perfect for our night away to attend a wedding party . We got a taxi company number and they were brilliant too . Thanks 🤩

Great location just off the main Perth to Dundee road.
Ideal for quick get away to Dundee on the morning.
NB - this is not a 'destination city' - its a rural location - suitable only for people arriving by car - or by bus, though the bus stop for the buses between Perth and Dundee stop on the slip road, and are about a half mile walk back in to the village.

I really like Dundee but have only started visiting fairly recently. Prior to that it was always somewhere we stopped for a quick snack before heading on to Glasgow or Edinburgh.
For my 11 year old, she loves the shopping as we do let her loose by herself (which is not something I would allow in Glasgow or Edinburgh, too big) and I like the culture. The Discovery and the V&A are right next to each and good for a visit. The HMS Unicorn is also worth a visit and we have enjoyed the Science Centre and Camperdown Park previously.
There are some lovely pubs and restaurants, I have never met any rude staff, they are always so lovely and friendly.
Highly recommend a wee visit.

Plenty of things to do and see. We were there for a gig at The Caird Hall love the intimate atmosphere of the venue. Plenty of shops pubs and eating places. Easy to get to although new LEZ might be a bit of a nuisance for city centre things

Well I am going to say it is great going to Dundee as I am an expat.
Not too impressed with the V&A, Lovely building but disappointing inside. McManus is better. Up the Law Hill is well worth the visit even in the cold and wind etc. and Broughty Ferry is great for shopping and pubs etc.

Only a brief visit (open day visit to one of the Universities with son from England). Wish we had longer - lovely small city, friendly atmosphere and very beautiful location. New design museum a must. Will be back to see more of city and area, even if son does not end up at the Uni.

City centre has good museums and nice walks along the river.
City centre has good museums and nice walks along the river. Good transport and city centre restaurants. Fabulous Thai restaurant next door to hotel, Italian and Indian restaurants short bus/taxi ride away. Good cafes for breakfast. Regular buses to seaside. Would have enjoyed better pubs without football screens. Hotels better for a quiet drink.
The Apex Hotel is in an excellent position on the old quayside in Dundee. There are many historic and interesting places to visit at, and around, the location, and the town centre is just a few hundred metres away.
The hotel is modern, clean, and had all we needed to make our stay relaxing and comfortable -- including a spa. The bar and dining area are bright, airy and well staffed. The food, (dinner and breakfast), was delicious and well served.
All the staff were friendly, courteous and helpful
I found the staff extremely helpful, I showed up before my room was ready but the lady on reception kindly said she could keep my suitcase until I came back to check in later to save me lugging it around.
Room was bigger than I expected it to be, facilities were extremely comfortable and I got a very good night's sleep before I headed home to Glasgow the following day.
Shower was easy to work and get to the correct temp for my liking.
Would definitely recommend this hotel for others too!
The reception staff were very welcoming and helpful, including with parking. We liked the cool, minimalist vibe of Hotel Indigo. The rooms were comfortable. Dinner was delicious and a young man in charge called Lewis was especially good. The drinks list was fine, albeit slightly expensive. We loved the ground floor exhibits which highlight the history of Dundee in publishing, jute, jam. Hotel Indigo is an ideal location from which to explore Dundee, including the superb McManus.
Beds very comfortable, room was pleasant & quiet. Breakfast buffet was slightly above average for this price range; don't always like coffee from a self-service machine but this was surprisingly good. Arrived after a long and delayed rail journey on first visit to Dundee - was relaxing to know that hotel was same building as the rail terminal - no worries finding it. Arrived too late for food on site, but staff friendly and gave good advice on late night food stops.
Splendid modern hotel in the city centre, a stones throw from train station, V&A Museum and all the best bars, restaurants, attractions etc in town centre. Large spacious breakfast room overlooking the newly revamped Dundee waterfront. Brekfast was top notch catering to all tastes and diets etc. Room was big enough and very comfortable. Decent bar on ground floor and loads more function, conference rooms, dining rooms etc to be had if needed.
The location is good, it's on the main street in the city centre, but that didn't mean it was noisey at all.
The facilities are alright, maybe it could be better with more but it's ok.
The rooms were fine, they're basic, but you pay a cheap price so that's alright.
Staff were good, and it's a curious place to go to, a weird old building (or two or three) so there's more character than some modern identikit hotel.
Hotel was very good. Room was clean and more than big enough for one or two people. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Hotel was very quiet at night with no disturbances. Room was also cleaned and had fresh towels every day. The hotel is in a very quiet rural location with lots of green space around but is only minutes away from downtown Dundee.
I’m pregnant found the room hot and couldn’t open a window room was small for me and my friend staying would have been nicer to have a bit bigger room or atlesst a room where I could open a window :)
Other than that the hotel is very central it’s clean breakfast was great I would book again but not the small room
Well priced hotel in central location. Facilities and comfort met expectations for the class of hotel. Staff very friendly and attentive and they happily accommodated our son meeting us for breakfast each morning, (son is studying in Dundee and we were visiting him from Ireland on his birthday).
Ideally located hotel if you are visiting the Cairngorms or travelling to the Northern Highlands, or just looking to visit Dundee. Staff were friendly and helpful. About 2 miles away from the airport. The hotel has leisure facilities. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable.
Location is on the main shopping street of Dundee. There was a secure place to store my rented e-bike over night. I noticed there was a kitchen available to guests for food preparation. (Didn't use it) The staff was helpful and listened to me.
Hotel and grounds were lovely. let us check in early which was great after an
overnight flight from Canada. Overall we enjoyed our stay! Staff were very helpful and friendly. great way to spend our first day in Scotland
I loved having Alexa to keep us informed, entertained and reassured. It was wonderful to be welcomed with the iconic Dundee Cake and some caramels in our room. The couple who run the hotel are warm and accommodating.
We had a nice walk around the University of Dundee Botanic Garden across the road but otherwise you would need a car to get anywhere. The location was easy to find. Nice they had a restaurant on site.
I didn't stay there, the photos were enough to put me off. I didn't realise it was a hostel and shared bathroom . I tried to cancel but yous wouldn't waiver the hotel cost . So i didn't go.
The room, staffs, bed - you name it! EVERYTHING was perfectly comfortable for me and I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The complementary breakfast was loaded too. Thanks
