Breakfast was good enough for me

Located just off the A4 motorway, Thistle London Heathrow has a 24-hour front desk and Heathrow Terminal 5 is just a 5-minute drive away. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.

Location is great for Heathrow T5 for those who don't drive and rely on the public buses, as long as (1) you don't have too much luggage to drag on and off the bus, and (2) know where to take the bus from (the hotel's stop is very easy to spot, it's right outside or opposite the hotel to and from T5 respectively). There are quite a few amenities nearby, like the convenience store at the gas/petrol station and McDonald's less than 5 mins' walk away, and other eateries. And of course there is an on-site restaurant and bar too if you don't want to venture out. Sound-proofing was excellent. I heard no aeroplane noise in the room, a bit contrast to what was outdoor. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean (I was surprised to have a bath, not just a shower). Staff members were courteous and welcoming.

Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow Terminal 2 and 3 is directly attached to Heathrow Terminal 2 with Terminal 3 located a 12 minute walk away by a pedestrian underpass.

Lovely setting in a beautiful English town within walking distance to a large number of restaurants and bars. Very handy to both train stations which we used every day for various site seeing trips. Exceptionally comfortable bed in a lovely room with everything we needed included eg iron, fan, hairdryer etc. Also it felt very safe and quiet at night. Would use again.
