One of the most unique hotels in Perth, set in a 15th century watermill, where you can still watch the water trickling through the original water wheel from the garden, reception area and Lounge Bar.

The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Insisted on carrying all of or bags--there was no elevator and were narrow halls. I would say that a lot of the room was updated--bathroom, walls, drapes. Quiet.

Great location right at the train station and at the park, room clean and spacious, bathroom new and spotlessly clean. Very friendly service and excellent food (both breakfast and dinner).
The seating in the garden is pretty.

Rooms were dirty, furniture dilapidated, some colleagues woke up covered in bites and food was deemed almost inedible. Most of my colleagues left before reception staff were up just to get out of the hotel.
This fine country house hotel rests in 6 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens, only a few minutes' drive from Perth. There is free on-site car parking and free Wi-Fi.

A dirty, sketchy neighborhood. The first and only time I felt I had to be on guard while in Scotland. Many of the shops and restaurants were closed even in early afternoon. Not much to do or see. Reasonable distance from airport but no other reason to stay here.

I had always by-passed Perth, but no more.
I had always by-passed Perth, but no more. I met up with a friend at The Jade Garden in the evening and next morning walked down to the bridge and over the river. I went to the excellent gallery to catch paintings by Fergusson, one of the Scottish Colourists, and then on to the new museum. It was a revelation, surrounded by cafes, but I went to their own food room, which was a delightful space, serving interesting food at good prices.

The multistorey car park at Kinnoull Street is a disgrace and should be avoided at all costs.
The city itself is compact and pleasant enough. No hills in the city so easy to get about.
Plenty of cafes by the new museum.

Situated in a suburb of Perth provided excellent parking facilities for two cars. Easy walking distance to a Co-Op local and 5 minutes from a dog-friendly pub/restaurant which did a super Sunday lunch.
The accommodation was warm, and nicely equipped; we felt very at home there.
Treasure Hunt map around Perth is a great way to see the sights, easy drive to St Andrews for a super walk on the beach with the dogs and many lovely doggy cafes in the city.
Sam is a fantastic host who went the extra mile to make sure we got the most out of our overnight stay in Perth. Sam recommended some places to eat in the city and places to go if we wanted to have a little walk around. The breakfast we had was one of the best myself and partner have had during our road trip around Scotland with the personal touch of a fruit salad starter and fresh baked bread. If we ever stay in Perth again we will be looking to stay here again.
Fiona and her husband looked after us so well. The rooms were all big, comfy and clean. They let us put our motorcycles safely at the side of the property and even got one in their garage (2 maybe 3 sports might fit in there). Breakfast was all locally sourced and cooked by Fiona’s husband who is a chef. Our favourite stop over on our Scotland trip and actually the cheapest too.
Sam is a fantastic host. One of the best host we ever had. She was very charming and cooked us a very delicious and elegant breakfast! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed. We would definitely stay at Sam’s again if we ever came back to Perth. Thank you Sam for an amazing stay for our family!
We had a lovely large room with good views over the garden. The room was clean, warm and had everything we needed.
Food was excellent and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Hotel was in a good location close to Perth, but there were some good local walks along the river and to Huntingtower Castle.
The owner was very friendly and welcoming, The room had everything we needed. Very attentive to us and to the other guests. The parking was a plus and right next to the city centre. We would have no hesitation about staying here again if in that part of Scotland and would recommend it to others.
A very well appointed and presented small hotel . Good sized rooms and en-suite facilities. The manager was very friendly and could not have been more helpful. The choice, value and quality of the evening meals and breakfasts were excellent. The overall service was exemplary.
Susan, the owner, was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was great. She makes the delicious marmalade and jam. The location is walking distance from the Perth bus and train station.
Murrayshall Country Estate is a beautiful location with lovely vistas. The one site restaurants were lovely and offered variety. Perth is a short drive away, but we had everything we needed at Murrayshall Estate.
The breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is within walking distance of Perth Royal Infirmary which was useful as my husband was
unexpectedly admitted while we were on holiday.
Great location to discover Scotland, Perth is a great small city. Nice pubs, nice nature around it. We did some walks to Kinnoul Hill and were treated to some great views. We had a very nice family holiday!
Good breakfast and friendly staff. Good location in city and there is a fine walk up the hill on the other side of the River Tay with magnificent view at the top. Hotel has character but is a bit dated now.
The breakfast was so good we had to stop by here again for another nights stay before ending our Scotland road trip! Lovely family running this guesthouse. Comfortable and clean rooms.
This hotel was out in the country and was very quiet. Off season meant there were few people and the weather was cool. Fun place to visit. Breakfast was the only problem.
