Taylour House and its owner Caroline are just Fabulous …. Caroline was fast in replying, really helpful and welcoming … our arrival time changed to being when it was dark and she’d popped back to the property to turn some lights on so we weren’t fumbling around - so thoughtful.
The house was excellent - my partner and I were hosting friends for my 50th so we had a sit down lunch in the beautiful dining room which comfortably sits 8 and also played quiz games in the lounge which is lovely and spacious. Everyone agreed the beds were absolute bliss to sleep in.
I made enquiries about another property on this site and had such a contrast in comms from the owner I’m so happy I went with my gut and booked with Caroline - hopefully we will find a reason to return!
THANK YOU CAROLINE FOR MAKING YOUR HOUSE AVAILABLE AND SUCH WONDERFUL PLACE YO STAY XX

the room was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff helpful but the room was so hot it ruined our 3 day stay and we left a day early and were very disappointed as we were looking forward to this holiday very much. We could not obtain any compensation at all. The wifi was also very poor indeed and the staff explained this was normal.

Interesting history, quaint village, great food at The Grasshopper on the Green. Very friendly. Hever Castle near by, Churchill House, Sevenoakes and not far from coastal points such as the historic Hastings.

Stayed at Westerham as it's close to National Trust property Chartwell and convenient for the M25. There are interesting shops and quite a few eateries but some closed on Monday or for refurbishment. Check before going. Can recommend Tulsi Indian restaurant.

The state of the Days Inn grounds did not bode favourable for the first impression of Westerham. The Council need to have words with them about the general upkeep and monitoring of the area outside the reception/parking areas of the facility. Westerham is a beautiful part of Kent I know the area well as I have grown up in the area. But if hotels\motels are not kept to certain standards this will have adverse effect on the whole area.

General impression was of a potentially lovely town spoilt...
General impression was of a potentially lovely town spoilt by premise that were empty or in general need of improvement.
The town seemed in need of good hotels, restaurants and nice shops.
There is a nice Italian restaurant and shop.
There is plenty to enjoy in the vicinity, eg. Darwin's and Churchill's houses, and the Biggin Hill wartime museum and aerial activity.
We had a large comfortable double bedroom on 1st floor, large bathroom/toilet, Shower head over the bath, always plenty of hot water.
The breakfast menu offered a wide selection, dining room divided into 3 sections, and the well stocked bar located opposite.
Sunny patio area to rear of hotel, great to relax having a drink or food. Public Car Park is free if registered in hotel, space not guaranteed, but I always found a space over 4 days stay.
The hotel is dated, and could probably do with some investment in decorating, that said, it is an old building with all the quirks that come with it. The hotel staff were 1st Class, very polite, welcoming, and helpful. Breakfast was faultless, room warm with crisp fresh linen.
If I'm fortunate enough to work in the area again, I'll certainly stay at the Kings Arms - Very Good value.
I hope Green King appreciate the staff.
Right next door to JetEx where I parked our jet
Bus stop is less than 200 yards from the hotel
Restaurant upstairs was very good. Noticed that the locals ate there regularly. Rooms were immaculate, the hotel is very well insulated. Did not hear the airport runway traffic at all.
Staff is very polite, friendly and attentive.
Mattress and pillows were very comfortable. I stayed 5 days and will stay there again in October.
Lovely location in centre of Westerham - good for exploring surrounding countryside and various National Trust properties. Nice little touches with milk, eggs and bacon in the fridge.
Spacious flat with plenty of sitting space. Very comfortable beds, all 3 bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with good showers.
Private parking space.
Louana was very easy to access and responsive to our queries.
Andrew and his staff were friendly and attentive. When there was a problem with WiFi in the room he made arrangements for me to take some important business meetings in another part of the premises. The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere in the bar and restaurant areas in the evenings was friendly. I was made to feel like a local.
In England for a family reunion and our location in Westerham was ideal as the majority of my family were staying in Sevenoaks, a 20 minute car ride away. Willow Cottage was very cozy, convenient and comfortable for myself, my partner and my daughter.
Highly recommended......thanks again Laura

Located in the beautiful village of Westerham close to Chartwell & Knole house the pub had an unbelievable collection of staff that made your stay a special event. The room was spotless, the food was fabulous & as a bonus there was free parking on site..Full marks to Tom & Savannah for all their hard work. What a team.
The staff were very welcoming and friendly,( Savanna on the front desk was amazing and extremely helpful).
The hotel is stunning with lots of personal touches that made it a pleasure to stay there. Would highly recommend and would love to come back.
Room nicely spacious and the bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Good location. Excellent parking facilities. We will definitely use this hotel again for future business trips with our team.
The location of Westerham was perfect for our requirements, which included visiting old haunts, and local places of interest (Titsey Place, Emmets Gardens). The hotel has a delightfully quirky feel.
An absolute gem! If only there were more hotels like this one. Genuinely putting the guest first to ensure a first class stay. Loved the bottle of gin in the bedroom! Great breakfast.
The room itself was nice on initial view. large room with a comfortable bed at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was lovely and staff all very nice and welcoming.
