The staff could not be more helpful and friendly and the food was excellent. There was a great view from the bay window as well as a very relaxed feel to the hotel. The bathroom could have been a foot wider and longer. It was just too small

Nice little town on the sea. Nothing exceptional but really nice if you’re after something different from countryside. Do not expect a wealthy area however it is acceptable and locals are nice people.

I originally come from Weston and to me I feel like I am always coming back home and try to visit as often as I can. I would like to move back again in the future but it isn’t good timing yet. The Bridgwater carnival is a regular activity I always come back for every year as you have to see it to see how amazing it is. Weston is on the flat and everything is in walking distance and the bus and train station is close by and regular to other destinations to visit.

We love Weston-super-Mare. We have been a few times now. The beach is my favourite that I have ever been too. It is incredibly clean and big. Amazing walk along the promenade and the town centre shopping, especially the sovereign shopping centre is Great. We have two small children so the pier and what used to be Funland was brilliant, but we are so gutted that it is no longer there. We will be going back to Weston every year

Weston super mare looks very tired, very popular though for families but parking is a nightmare, at the time of our visit it was busy and very noisy with motor bikes, and loud music blaring out everywhere the pier opened late but closed early nicest place to eat was bistrot Pierre

I am 71 and came from Bristol. Sunday school outings always went to Weston. My parents and brother all ended up living at Carlton Mansions next door to the Grand Atlantic.
I love returning to Weston and spending time on the beach.

Right on the seafront and the promenade, just a short walk to the pier
Although we booked a superior room, unfortunately there was an issue which we were told about promptly and offered an alternative standard room which was very comfortable
The staff are all so friendly, helpful and professional - I cannot praise them enough
We had dinner at the hotel and the food was very good and excellent value for money, lovely breakfast too
Would definitely return if I can and would definitely recommend
The room (no 8) was very spacious including the en-suite bathroom. The decor was modern and had lovely pictures on the wall.
Having breakfast delivered to the room was novel, but good, as it meant we did not have to be up and dressed at a specific time. The breakfast itself was plentiful and the owners were very accommodating when we asked for an extra sandwich portion.
Whilst the hotel was not on the seafront, it was within easy walking distance of the beach, restaurants and The Playhouse.
The location is great for walking to the beach, restaurants, bars, and other attractions in Weston-super-Mare. The staff is very nice, and the proprietor even got up early on our last morning to fix us breakfast before we left for the airport. Breakfast each morning was based on our personal requests and was fresh and tasty.
This is a place I would like to recommend and return to if I visit Weston-super-Mare again. The proprietors just need to be more attentive to cleanliness.
Lovely hotel just a 10 minute walk to the sea front. On a slight incline /decline depending whether you walking to or from the seafront , situated in a quiet part of the town. . Hotel was well decorated and spotlessly clean.Breakfast was lovely and plentiful. We got upgraded to a balcony room with a lovely view of the beach and pier. Bed was Queen size and very comfortable. Private bathroom with toiletries , Hairdryer . Staff very friendly and helpful .
Located within a stones throw of the town centre, beach and pier. Room had a lovely sea view , we checked in early and was able to leave the car in front of the hotel, gentleman on reception kindly gave us the heads up that our rooms would be ready much earlier than expected very much appreciated after our long drive . Loved the old mouldings on the ceiling in the dining which have been kept with the more modern style decoration .
We booked The Royal Hotel primarily for its location, close to the town centre and seafront.
We were allocated room 204, with dual aspect windows, one over looking the car park and college , and the second one had a sea view.
Breakfast was lovely, however a little disorganised and the waitress’s did have some difficult guests to attend to.
The location of hotel is great, on the seafront. I have stayed in this hotel before and luckily this time we had a lovely room overlooking the sea front. The room was clean and tidy. Breakfast in the morning is an all you can eat buffet breakfast which was very good.
A brilliant barging for a seafront room of £55! Comfy bed & perfectly cleaned. The staff were very accommodating even though my party of quest kept going back & forth to the hotel late at night as it was a Birthday celebration day/night out. Definitely recommend!
Excellent access to seafront , overlooks the lido. Disabled access ramp & small lift that we didn't use . Helpful reception staff.
Got what we paid for & more . Hotel room set up was a bit weird but great value for money .
