This 4-star hotel is located directly south of Essen city centre. It is 1 underground station from Essen Main Station and 3 stops from the Gruga-Halle exhibition centre. We were there for the Spiel, they let you use the breakfast area later during the day to play your games. Room was spacious and comfortable. Very nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The apartment was clean and quiet in a primarily residential neighborhood. We were able to briefly park on-site to unload our rental car when we checked in, and then dropped the car off at the central station.
