This historic 3-star hotel in the south-east of Leipzig is a 10-minute walk from the famous monument to the Battle of the Nations. It offers traditionally furnished rooms and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was out of this world. I think about it regularly and keep comparing other breakfast places to this magnum opus of a breakfast. You HAVE to eat breakfast there on you stay.

Internationales Gästehaus Leipzig is located in the East district of Leipzig, 1.5 km from the city centre with marketplace, university, opera and Gewandhaus concert hall. We had a 3 person room, that was almost like an apartment, with a small table and enough space to move around. The shared bathroom was clean. Our dog was also welcome. They have a little outside area too. The staff was friendly. All good 😊

The apartment was just like in the photos. Had a lot of kitchen utensils and appliances, which was great since I was cooking myself. We had problems receiving messages from booking.com, we received no emails about check in. But the hosts were very nice and sent us all information through whatsapp and helped us receive keys while on the phone call.

Quite a central location, but on a quiet street with relatively easy parking, a nicely furnished and equipped, modern apartment on the ground floor of a nice, old building. The room is spacious and comfortable and the same can be said about the kitchen and the bathroom. The owner seems to have attention to every detail and makes a real effort to make his guests feel comfortable, truly at home away from their homes. Check-in and check-out were easy and can be at any time of the day! We had an excellent, very relaxing stay.
