Very well decorated room, quality linen and very comfortable bed. Left us a bottle of water each which was much appreciated. Very pleasant reception staff. Able to leave bags before check in. Very well air conditioned room which was a luxury in the German heatwave in Mainz. Had a wonderful stay at this hotel.

Wonderful room…felt very cozy. I had a little balcony. I liked the look of the common room and restaurant downstairs but didn’t have time to use them. Bathroom was great..lots of amenities and a good shower with lots of hot water. Very gracious staff that was quite helpful with maps and bus schedules.

Small breakfast facility (was expecting no breakfast) but definitely adequate, continental style. had good, free coffee all day. we took a larger room (not much extra) and were very comfortable for our 3 days. The desk clerk very kindly showed us the smaller 2 person room that I had avoided mainly because it faced the road. It was actually very quiet, and was not cramped at all. Loved the neighbourhood behind the hotel. Great bar/pub, restaurants, little shops. Check in was a breeze at 8 am, no extra charge, and we had breakfast that day, too. Full disclosure, the hotel didn’t appear very full. we only saw several other people our whole stay.

There are several pubs and stores around. Even though it is close to the train station. The surrounding is just amazing. No problem with storing our bicycles. Good quality breakfast. Two comfortable large beds for a family. Quality for a money absolute top.
