Le Woohoo Rooms Fuencarral est un établissement 2 étoiles situé à Madrid, à 500 mètres de la rue Gran Vía et à 1,1 km du musée Thyssen-Bornemisza. Absolument tout, l’hôtel est central, il occupe un étage d’un très bel immeuble, il est très propre, très bien équipé, la literie est très confortable, la chambre très grande et le personnel adorable. Pour l’anecdote, j’ai oublié mon chargeur de téléphone et leur ai demandé s’ils en avaient un à me prêter, on me l’a laissé toute la nuit. J’avais aussi apporté avec moi un cadeau à une amie qui habite à Madrid que je devais voir et qui est malheureusement tombée malade, je leur ai demandé si je pouvais laisser le cadeau chez eux pour qu’elle passe le récupérer quand elle ira mieux et ils ont très gentiment accepté.

Idéalement situé dans le quartier Centro de Madrid, le Woohoo Rooms Hortaleza se trouve à 1 km du musée Thyssen-Bornemisza, à 400 mètres de la Gran Via et à 2 km du parc du Retiro. The staff really accommodated us when our arrival time was delayed! Everything was organised so that we were able to get into our room smoothly. We really appreciated it. Very nice home away from home hotel concept. 😊

Doté d'une superbe terrasse avec vue sur les bâtiments les plus emblématiques de Madrid, le Vincci La Monnaie présente un nouveau type d'hébergement dans Madrid. This is a very good hotel for a 4 star in Madrid. Location is fantastic, close to everything by foot - 5-10 minutes to Sol or Mercado San Miguel in the busy center, but also no more than 10 minutes to Prado. Positioned on a busy and very central street, buses, metro and taxis are readily available if you want to go a bit further. There are many, many taxis - just go out and hail one, we never had to wait more than 30 seconds! Short distances are not a problem if you don't know your way and prices are more reasonable than in countries in Northern Europe. Immediately next to the hotel and across from it you may find an abundance of restaurants, tapas bars, etc. The room is spacious for Madrid and for the price. It's also properly heated - which in January is also needed. I am not a fan of heating-by-air-conditioning (ubiquitous in modern hotels where a radiator is almost never to be found anymore) because it usually blows rather humid and not properly heated air over me! In this case however, it works as it should - the stream of heated air is not intrusive and the airco vent is placed at the entrance of the room rather than in the living space, working unobtrusively. The temperature is easily regulated and works well. Very good bed - the double is actually a twin pulled together, at least 1 m wide per person, so with about 2 m in width it's larger than in my own bedroom! Wifi is excellent as well. We would have preferred a "normal" square table and a slightly higher chair in the room - since we had a bit of work to do - but that's just nitpicking, what we got worked for us as well. The hotel's window was directly next to the busy street. Double windows close well though, noise is not a problem. A large bathroom with a large shower completes it all. I recommend buying the breakfast in advance - price is advantageous compared to a la carte.

The location is the best of both crazy Chueca and sophisticated Salamanca, the hotel and its staff are all on trend but not fussy, you feel at home from the time you arrive till you leave. We have stayed in the rooms with courtyard views and the ones with street view, either option is great depending on your budget. Having stayed 4 times we would never stay anywhere else, that after trying many different hotels in Madrid.

Doté d'une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite dans tout l'établissement et d'une réception ouverte 24h/24, le B & B Hotel Madrid Centro Fuencarral 52 est situé à Madrid. Location was perfect, the bed was comfortable and I loved that the room felt spacious even though it was not super-large. The shower was also very nice. I'll definetely come back!

Situé dans le quartier animé de Chueca, dans le centre de Madrid, le Petit Palace Chueca occupe un ancien hôtel particulier du XIXème siècle. La célèbre Gran Via se trouve à seulement 25 mètres. Teresa is an amazing person and staff member that we had a pleasure of having her to answer all are questions and inquiries. She is very helpful!!
