Overlooking the sea in the beautiful Lapad Bay, the Kompas hotel can be found near a pebbly beach and the popular promenade, only a 15-minute bus ride from Dubrovnik's Old Town. I love the location where breakfast is served as there are tables both inside and outside under the awning. The view is amazing and the staff were wonderful. I can't say enough about the location with just a short walk to the beach. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone who is looking for a 5 star hotel in Dubronik.

At the seafront of Gruz Bay and a 10-minute drive from Dubrovnik's Old Town, this 5-star boutique offers elegantly furnished rooms with stylish bathrooms. The hotel was just fantastic, we absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay. The building is very beautiful and the rooms were really nicely furnished in a way that it complimented the older style of the hotel. Pool area was nice and quiet. For a Finn, the sauna was just an absolute enjoyment. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. The breakfast was amazing. Even though there was a big construction work going on just outside the hotel, we could not hear it. We liked the location of the hotel; it was a walking distance away from really nice restaurants and Lapland beach and also it only took about half an hour to walk to the old town.
