I arrived early, before official check-in time, after riding my bike in the cold rain. I was given a warm welcome out of the wet and allowed to have the room early. The evening meal was excellent!

Authentic, unpretentious place more akin to a backpackers/ hostel instead of traditional BnB where everything is done for you. Guests are expected to play their part in keeping the facilities for everyone to use and if you are lucky to be there with a bunch of relaxed, respectful folks like we did you'll be up for a very pleasant stay. The host is attentive and charming and doesn't pretend to be overfriendly. Just perfect.

Le Mottay is an incredible place. The house has been beautifully decorated with every attention to design and thought for guests comfort. Eloidie and Greg are remarkable hosts so kind and nothing is too much trouble. It was a beautiful week in a stunning and relaxing environment thank you so much. It will down as one of the most memorable holiday homes we have stayed in. Thank you
