Number 46 is a short walk from the railway station and also from the seafront. We were greeted and shown to our room which was very comfortable, off the first flight of stairs and very quiet. It was clean and thoughtfully kitted out - a lot of thought had gone into the decor and comfort. There was a good choice of things for breakfast - individual fresh fruit salads in preserving jars, individually boxed cereals, beautifully cooked poached eggs, and good coffee. Checkout was seamless and we arranged to come back to pick up our bags later on the day we left.

We loved our 5 night stay at Hastings House BnB. Our room was spotless and tastefully decorated - with a beautiful sea view. The owner and staff are warm and welcoming, and they serve an outstanding breakfast. The location can't be beat in terms of its proximity to the train, beach, and excellent restaurants. It's no wonder that Hastings House was a Four In a Bed winner! We will definitely return.

This is a hidden gem. I loved how crisp and cozy the room was. The room had a small fridge, a fan, heater, hair dryer and one of the best hot showers I’ve had in the UK. Staff went above and beyond the call of duty. I would stay here again, it’s a great value for the price.

I found the room, facilitys and the entire place was very clean tidy and very well presenated the staff were amazing and very freindly and aprocable i have no complatnts about the Apollo Guest House what so ever and i couldnt rate it highly enough. The view from the room I was staying in was stunning. A staff member informed me about the weather conditions I could expect. The room was quiet. The bed was the best I've slept in in my lifetime. The room was also impeccably clean.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was ideal for walking to the harbour and taking the route to Battle to visit the abbey and battle.
