The Black Rock House was exactly what I needed after a long journey from New Zealand. Clean, tidy, well-equipped, spacious, and not to mention the host, Vincent, was incredibly helpful and accommodating (and cooks a great breakfast). The house isn't in the centre of Hastings, but it's a reasonable and straightforward walk into the town.

This is a hidden gem. I loved how crisp and cozy the room was. The room had a small fridge, a fan, heater, hair dryer and one of the best hot showers I’ve had in the UK. Staff went above and beyond the call of duty. I would stay here again, it’s a great value for the price.

The hotel was very clean and the room was brilliant and the beds were very comfortable! The location was fantastic! So central and a short walk to the town! The staff were friendly and very helpful! Will definitely be rebookng!

The view from the room I was staying in was stunning. A staff member informed me about the weather conditions I could expect. The room was quiet. The bed was the best I've slept in in my lifetime. The room was also impeccably clean.
