Breakfast was varied—not particularly delicious but it had a lot of hot and cold choices. Rooms were quite basic but this seemed appropriate to a historic convent—and the AC was appreciated for sleeping!

The beach of Maragogi is not the best, the hotel is very close to the river which makes the water not clear, we didn't swim there. The outside area in front of the beach is amazing, with chairs, beds, and hammocks, there you can have all your meals and chill.
