Pod also provides a microwave and a breakfast tray. We got caught in rain and it was almost 11 when we checked in to the pod. We informed her late at 9 PM and she was still accommodating to us even though she had to cancel her plans. I loved the way Heather warmly welcomed us into the pod. Parking was easy, pod was cosy and she explained A to Z when she gave us the keys. I especially loved her pulpy orange juice. Everything about this place was excellent.

Situated within 1.2 km of Kyle of Lochalsh and 15 km of Eilean Donan Castle in Kyle of Lochalsh, Heatherbrae Guest House features accommodation with seating area. A very warm welcome,.and altgough she states no breakfast, we had our own fridge, stocked with milk, juice, water, fruit and yogurt. Also a microwave and porridge pots for DIY breakfast. Our room was luxurious with comfy twin beds, tv, and a unit with crockery etc. Large en-suit with toietries. Everything was spotlessly clean. Heather even washed all our picnic plates etc. I cannot recommwnd Heatherbrea highly enough. Heather has also recently installed a glamping pod in her garden, and although we dudn't see inside it was clearly a very upmarket unit and I'm sure would have been as high a standard as our room.

The entire property exuded a sense of warmth and care, making us feel right at home. The highlight, of course, was the incredibly comfortable bed that felt like a cloud embracing us after a day of exploration. It's these little luxuries that truly make a difference in a travel experience, and Dandelion No2 nailed it perfectly. Situated within a larger villa where the hosts reside, Dandelion No2 offers a perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. The separate room, complete with a small kitchen, a bathroom, a cozy living area, and a convenient fridge, catered to all our needs. It's like having a miniature home away from home. Speaking of hosts, they couldn't have been more welcoming and accommodating. The genuine hospitality they displayed added an extra layer of warmth to our stay. One of the unexpected surprises was their willingness to go the extra mile – they graciously washed and dried our clothes, making our travel experience all the more hassle-free. Our host was also a treasure trove of local knowledge. Their insightful suggestions for things to do in and around the area enriched our itinerary. It's often these local insights that turn a good trip into an unforgettable one, and we're grateful for their guidance. In conclusion, our stay at Dandelion No2 near Dunvegan was an absolute delight. The cleanliness, the comfort of the bed, the thoughtfully equipped living space, and the exceptional hospitality of the hosts all contributed to a wonderful experience.

The seafront is located directly in front of the property and guests can relax in the large garden. There is free WiFi access and free parking on site. Everything, stunning location across the Sound of Raasay, wonderful comfortable bed, couldn't really fault the place although cooked breakfast would have been nice.

The guest house features family rooms. The place was absolutely lovely! The rooms were big and clean and the service was first class. Also a huge bonus for the breakfast, which was excellent. By far our best stay in Scotland.

The nearest airport is Benbecula Airport, 103 km from the guest house. Location is a little out of town but only a ten minute walk to town center. Plenty of good food for breakfast, also gave us everything gluten free because of an allergy. Very private with great outdoor access. We liked the room with sky lights and plenty of hot water in the shower.
