Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. The host is incredibly nice, and gave us a lot of useful information about the area, and also some some in site in to the local customs. The floating breakfast and the breakfast in general is amazing. I highly recommend this stay while visiting borobudur.

The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!

In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

The property is in a great location nearby the town and the port, also great that is is right by the ocean. The staff are great and will assist you with tours, scooter, recommendations, etc. Highly recommend staying here if you plan on visiting Karimunjawa!

Deepsky Villa se află în Karimunjawa și are o grădină, un lounge comun, o terasă și un bar. We loved every minute of our stay. Our bungalow was very well equipped and the view from the terrace over the wonderful garden was simply priceless. The owners and staff (especially Asty) were very attentive, always available and organized everything when needed (ferry tickets, a scooter, medical care when we were sick). We have rarely experienced such warmth. That there was muesli with yoghurt for breakfast was a really welcome change! 🥰 If you are not in the mood to go to town for dinner, you can enjoy delicious food at Deepsky Villa. In addition, the location is unbeatable, close to the beautiful beaches, you can get to town in just a few minutes by scooter, but above all it is heavenly quiet. Even though we were there for 7 nights, we were sad that we had to leave.
