The train service stopped due to land slide and we faced difficulty in reaching and leaving Varenna. Difficult to catch a taxi to leave Varenna to Lecco for onward train to Milano. Laura was kind enough to order a taxi for us. Clean and quiet room. Excellently located very close to the pier - good when raining.

Offering city views, Aurum - Como Luxury Suites is an accommodation set in Como, 300 metres from Basilica of San Fedele and 700 metres from Como Lago Train Station. location os great in middle of everything, the place definitely is recommended, however the issue in such location is the parking , near public parking is available (3min walking )but very expensive for 24hr (50+ €)

The Vitrum provides a variety of different themed rooms. Our room was overlooking the Como Duamo. Such a perfect location, being able to soak in the atmosphere on the balcony. The bathroom along with the shower was amazing. Would highly recommend this beautiful and modern hotel.

Located in Colico, 36 km from Villa Carlotta, Eden Guest House Colico provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a bar. The property has mountain views. As soon as you see the sign for the hotel you're greeted by a beautiful landscape leading up to the reception., The lady on reception was very helpful and took us to our room. The curtains, doors and shutters were closed, as soon as we opened them we were taken back by how breathtakingly beautiful the view from our room was. Breakfast was included in the price and had everything you needed. Would recommend this hotel to anybody and wish we had stayed longer.
