Quiet area. Filtered water available so I didn't have to purchase bottled water. Room was cleaned when requested as I informed host I did not need my room cleaned daily. Staff was very nice and pleasant. Host arranged transport to Kep for me. He also booked an appointment with his dentist and helped with finding a pharmacy so I could purchase medication. He arranged several tuk tuk rides for me. It was only approx $3 RT for short rides to go into town for the night market and meals - it was too hot for me to walk that far. Gin & Tonics there were only $2!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und Mini Kühlschrank. Das junge einheimische Geschwisterpaar dass das Hotel des Onkels manged ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt einen kleinen Innenhof/ Patio mit Restaurant. Das Essen ist extrem lecker und hat ein super Preis Leistungsverhältnis. Alles wird frisch zubereitet, kambodschanische Klassiker wie Sommer Rolle und Fish oder Chicken Amok haben hier auf unserer ganzen Reise am besten geschmeckt! Das Hotel arrangiert zum Transport nach Kep ein TukTuk für 10$! Bei Weiterreise mit Bus oder Boot hilft das Team gerne. Scooter Verleih im Hotel zu günstigen Preisen. In die Stadtmitte läuft man in 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Absolut empfehlenswertes Hotel, sehr unterstützenswert, da es Einheimischen gehört und das Geld nicht an Chinesen oder ausländische Investoren geht!

Magnificent place. Mr Leng takes care of us with kindness, hospitality, and a very nice sense of humour. Delicious breakfast with the best jam in Cambodia. Mr Leng and his family help us a lot with planning trips around Kampot, booking buses. They always have time for their guests. Strongly recommend that Bungalows.

Das Retro Kampot Guesthouse liegt an der Mangrovenküste, 4 km von Kampot entfernt. Die Unterkunft verfügt über ein eigenes Restaurant und eine Bar. WLAN nutzen Sie in allen Bereichen kostenfrei. We had an exceptional stay at the Retro Hotel. The hotel has a really chill vibe, I had to work my 8 hour job remotely and I can say it is the best place I have worked from in SE Asia so far. The ladies were always refilling my glass of water and bringing me a bowl of fruit (free) like 3-4 times a day. The internet was very good and was able to handle my meetings. We booked the budget room. It is a bit small, but we were downstairs all day, where there are plenty of places to sit and relax. The room has no AC but you do have a mosquito net and fan so we slept like babies at night and the bed is big and comfortable. As a guest you have free kayaks and motorbike rental is $6 per day. The most important thing to mention is the food. So delicious and huge portions, prices around 4-6$ but really worth it. I recommend the chicken curry and padthai.

Everything! This place is so lovely and definitely a hidden gem! You feel right at home as soon as you arrive! It's right on the beach and you have a perfect sunset every evening. Beds are comfy and the AC in the room is so nice! Cannot recommend this place enough!!

While short, I had a great stay here. Clean room with a porch with table and chairs to sit at. Hosts were wonderful with good recommendations for what to do in town and there is a tuk-tuk driver available on site to take you where you need to go. Would definitely recommend this place.
