Just 100 metres from a private beach area and Färjestaden Ferry Terminal, these Öland Island cottages are 18 minutes’ drive from central Kalmar. The property has a communal kitchen and TV lounge. Can’t recommend this enough, my kids loved the place, the beach is few steps away, the staff are very friendly and supportive, they go above and beyond to help, everything was in walking distance.. the kids enjoyed the mini golf court

Situated 1.5 km from central Vimmerby, these cottages include a kitchenette and a small private patio. Parking is free on site. Astrid Lindgren’s World Theme Park is 3 km away. Very friendly staff. Beautiful place. 6 comfy beds really good price. We were able to park our car in front of the cottage very convinient. So many electric chargers were available close to the reception which we charged the car before sleeping. Charging price was 6sek/kwh. Breakfast was not included but I bought for my family and we loved the quality of the breakfast so much. I highly recommend it based on the valuable price.

Set in natural surroundings by Lake Föllingen, this hotel offers outdoor activities like hiking and jogging. Kinda Golf Club is a 10-minute walk away. The hotel was located in the forest area near a beautiful lake where you could go swimming. There are nice hiking paths including one path with a boat (free) where you need to tow yourself across, which the kids really enjoyed. The place was close enough to Vimmerby so we could easily make a daytrip to the Astrid Lindgren world.
